Re: Jelly and Chocolate Flotsam

Jelly is delicious-looking! Chocolate is nice, too. Minor picky point: I wish the whites of the eyes were actually white, or at least not that pale brown color that, to me, looks mildly jaundiced. It's the only thing I don't like about the Woodland Acara, too.

Re: Charter boards?

Thanks for the advice, you guys! I think I will subscribe to Premium after all - I'm so fed up with the regular boards. The "unbearable teenage drones" (as Fury so aptly put it) are the WORST - they make Neo so very unpleasant. What with moving, studying for my boards, and starting rotatio...

Charter boards?

It seems that a fair number of you guys are Premium subscribers, or at least have been in the past. May I pick your brains for a moment? (Hm. That's kind of a gross expression when you think about it.) I've been vaguely thinking about subscribing to Premium for a while now - not so much for the SSW ...

Re: Desert and Silver Quiggle

The Desert Quiggle looks very dashing. The base color is nice and toasty - wish they'd used it on the Desert Jubjub as well (instead of that clay-like shade). Plenty of Greeks and Romans in Egypt, so the toga fits nicely. I too think that the headgear might have been overkill. Plus, in order to have...

Re: Camouflage and Relic Nimmos

I like it, I think. Although I wish the purple splotches were more blue and less purple. The crotch, while odd, is actually very froglike. I've noticed that some frogs and toads actually have that odd stretch/tortiseshell pattern. Adds some veracity. (Hmmm, that makes it sound like I spend my leisur...

Re: What are you watching?

Wait - Futurama is coming back??? How did I MISS that?? Wikipedia tells me this is pretty old news, but it looks like I'm getting excited for it just in time! I'm also really excited that uncensored Daria is FINALLY being released on DVD - sans original music, which is a bit of a bummer but in no wa...

Re: Minor art updates

Every time I see that picture, all I can think is, "Shazam!" (Or maybe they're jazz hands!) So now I kind of like it.

He's certainly an enthusiastic salesman.

Rah, Cornelio is gorgeous! Congratulations! And Jazzy, the Floobix looks delicious.

I... zapped a Purple Hissi into a Blue Mynci? Sweeeeeet.

Stupid lab.

Re: Not ~exactly~ new

Sounds like a great idea to me, Madge. Besides doing away with the vile Fist, it'd also make the pets more... personal, maybe. (That's the best way I can think to describe it.) Wow, soupfaerie... that's an amazing list of pets! I am in awe... I too am curious what you think about the conversion. Are...

Ah ha ha ha! (non-fiendish laugh)

I love him! I want one! Am totally charmed by the antennae, and the wings are beautiful. I especially like the shade of green they picked for wings and spikes - somehow it keeps the colors from looking too sweety-sweet. He is fat and sassy!

Re: Hi!

So I plunge and introduce myself - then immediately take off for the Land of Dial-Up, where the people are lovely but the connection is horrendous. Back again! I am a big fan of squiggles, especially those little tornado-shaped scribbles that you doodle while bored in class. That's pretty much my ar...

Re: Jubjub Day Predictions

I love Jubjubs. In my opinion, they're one of the few pets that were better off for customization.

Gosh, couldn't Desert be fabulous? What if they went all Sand Raider/Jawa Trader on us?

Yes, I just referenced Star Wars. Wanna make something of it?

Re: Random Tiki Arts

Wow! Spore looks fantabulous!

I love those particular shades of brown-maroon and gold - they're so rich. And - always have to add that I cannot draw worth a lick, and am not an artist - I think they work particularly well with the straightforward lines of the drawing.

Hi!

Hi! I'm JD, or Jamboree. Both are fine. I've posted occasionally on the forum - not so much lately - but just realized that I should probably introduce myself. D'oh. Neopets history: First account was in 2000 (or 2001). Cause of death: dial-up. Second account was in 2003-2004. Cause of death: variou...

Re: Chocolate and Strawberry Yurbles

Wow, Chocolate makes me want a Yurble. I didn't think anything was capable of that. Strawberry - my first account was in 2000, when I desperately wanted a Strawberry Kau. I can't get over the way they changed the red and green, so I am not the most impartial observer. But I agree that the leafing lo...
