My first reaction to the Faerie grarrl was: "So *that's* what happens when you eat a Faerie Pteri...interesting" And pretty much, I stand by that. It looks like a grarrl is trying to morph into a Pteri, with little Pteri wings pushing the skin on it's back and the Pteri tail having bust th...

Oooo, I adore it. I think it's the unusual shaped and semi-transparent wings that really sell me. I'm not a huge techo fan and I hate yellow, but this is so very shiny.
The splotchy blueness is also a very nice effect.

I really, really liked the front page image of this, where it looked like an actual, rotting, zombie, but I agree that the actual pet is pretty meh. The redraw has some pluses -- brilliant facial expressions (whoever's been doing facial expressions lately needs to be showered in chocolate and, um, o...

I absolutely adore this colour and am a HUGE fan of the artist, whoever it is. This colour just has SO much creativity -- chocolate tears, flying cream in the hit poses and the world's cutest bite marks in the beaten pose. Massive kudos. As a revamp, I wouldn't be thrilled -- in addition for the rea...

I love the naked ears and tail and the spikes have a lot of character. I agree that the old one didn't have much going for it in the way of mutation -- it was just big and ferocious and hulk like; Cool, but not mutant. I, however, am disappointed in this one's facial expressions. I know some people ...

Well, I'm agreeing with the camo love -- I really like how the colours are swirled, not just huge chunks of one colour and than another. But the Maraquan...I love Maraquan in general and I love Rukis, so I should have expected how much I hate it. There's barely any color gradation, which is combined...

I really love how the headpiece is just a trimming of the sponge (like a wedge cut off) -- very cool. The legs are also done in a very convincing maner.

However, the shade of blue used is the same as that normallly used for sketch, which really bothers me.

I could have sworn this already existed. Huh.

Also, I'm not sure why you're all so glad about the lack of freckles -- the stripes are quite as bad to me and I'm sure they would have put on the evil things had there been any excess room.

I now feel quite put out that I zapped past cloud on my lab jubjub.

What really makes the colour for me is the way that the weather of the cloud changes with the emotion poses -- it's very creatively done.

*cries* I hate it. I was really hoping for a revamp that looked like plushie or clay -- more 3D and more of the face visible, but still with the feet in front of its face. My third permie for my main was supposed to be a faerie jubjub. I may need to rethink that. Drat. I was really hoping for a jubj...

I usually don't use anatomy books, though I probably should >>;; Fae I have anatomy books because I'm a medical student and thus have to study anatomy. But my figure drawing, while still awful, has improved a lot since I started learning all of the muscles and the skeleton. Honestly, I think your f...

I absolutely love your art and this is no exception! It's so beautiful. I love how detailed the background is. The grass is so pretty and realistic. Your shading is also particularly nice -- the trees are nearly photographic. I don't know much critical about artwork, but I do know quite a bit about ...

It's going to kill me dead with its eyebrows. And those poor, tiny, tiny wings -- they must hurt a lot.

It's kind of funny, though. If I got it on a zap I'd probably keep it for a week. Or maybe less.

I like it! Shocking, I know, as I hate gnorbus and have a distaste for all things pirate-y (I hated Pirates of the Carribean with a fierceness that knew no bounds.) But it actually has a *rational* for having a mane! And for no other clear reason I have totally fallen in love with it. It has a beard...
