Re: RL Achievements and ToW
Ugh I hate waiting! I am horrible at it! Stupid question: do the schools need the papers from your high school before January as well? Because otherwise I'm screwed. I got a letter yesterday about how they got my application (the common one) and my attendance office is closed for the next three wee...

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
ladynight, I know that in a lot of provinces in Ontario, NO ONE hears from universities until February...and that's an "Early Acceptance", early acceptances are conditional. Well that's how it works in Ontario at least, the deadline to apply is in January, so no one hears until after way ...

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
Big yay: I heard back from three universities: Essex, Northampton and Kingston and they all want me. Some have ridicously low conditions! :D Oh and I got a high grade on my biology test and I'm on Christmas break! Woe: Still no word from UBC :( And I nearly failed a math test and I get to spend chri...

Re: Royal Wocky
But I always make stargate references, did you not love me before? ;-;. (Seriously, I have 100GB of SG-1 and Atlantis on my HDD - i.e. every single episode. I am also creating my own campaign from the Stargate RPG sourcebook, which has more grammatical errors in it than you could shake a stick at -...

Re: Royal Wocky
I like the male wocky's fur hat, and, after some pondering, I've realised that the Stargate SG-1 episode "Emancipation" had a concept for a female costume that would've worked better in my opinion: http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u58/Madgech/1x045F0185.jpg And, come on, something with ...

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
Ooh, are they doing in Collectormania in Manchester now? I went to several of the early ones back in Milton Keynes. I suppose Manchester is a lot more accessible. Yay for your friends getting that autograph, that's awesome. I guess so. It was the first time I'd heard of it. I can't stop staring at ...

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
Yay: About two weeks ago, two of my friends attended Collectormania in Manchester, and I couldn't go. But my friends managed to get me an autograph of my favourite Stargate Atlantis actor, Jason Momoa, and it arrived in the mail today! :D Along with a video of them touring the con place and a bit of...

Re: Computer opinions needed!
Ooooh! I'll recommend my current laptop. :P It's a Panasonic Toughbook, mine's CF-Y5. It's really light compared to my family laptop, weighs about 1.5 kilos. I carry it around and I don't even realize I have it on me. The batter lasts long, about 5 hours or so, so that's good and it recharges quickl...

*shivers* That is one scary Turdle! And yet so alluring! I especially love the wispy tongue thing it's got going on. Haunting, like it could lick your soul away with it.

awww, you didn't like Windsor? XD My poor hometown....but I definitely understand that the dorms aren't the ...best... They do have a worthy law school, engineering program and teachers college...Windsor is therefore swamped with lawyers, engineers and teachers. EEK! The horror! :o The city was nic...

Blaaah! My MS doesn't like Vista very much I managed to get on once, but the screen kept doing this funny flickery thing. The second time I tried to get on it wouldn't connect. I'll try again tomorrow, hopefully it'll work and wont screw up my computer. *fingers crossed*
