The only customisation I've been able to afford is to remove Markoni's ridiculously cute bows. He looks much more normal now :-)

Now if only I could get rid of his green ruff, he'd be a perfect black and white gentleman.

They're giving codestones as AG prizes now?? There goes my get-rich-quick plan! *grumble grumble*

Still, congrats on getting in, and it's even the one of the featured three on the New Features page! It's a beautiful pic :)

It's beautiful! But I agree, you do need a background - very few pictures get in without one. Make it simple and in soft colours so as not to show down the main focus - if you do use coral, just make it very simple and not too bright. It'd also be nice to use some hints of the colours you've already...

I know nobody really knows who I am, but I'll shout this out because I'm excited - it's my birthday tomorrow! That's the 5th of July (I think it's still the 3rd right now in much of the world but it's the 4th here) and I'm turning a slightly scary 22. No use denying it now - I'm a proper grownup.

Hey, they're beautiful! I prefer your style to many of the actual images... Particularly that eyrie's wings. I was planning to do the circle thing for my pets too - it'd be pretty easy to add the circle, all you need is the invisible pet image for a background! On that note - is it against the rules...

Wow - that's the least number of stripes yet on a striped pet (tying with the chia, but the chia would have more if we could see both sides of it).

I know a song that mentions turning 22! Heh... I turn 22 in a month. I'll have to sing it. Well, back to the overall survey... My age categories worked nicely! We've got a nice normal curve going there, bit of a right skew but it's nice and easy to interpret. (I'm procrastinating from doing a stati...

How old are you?

I'm interested to see the spread of ages in this place. I think there may have been boards which have already asked this, but with the handy dandy poll option we'll be able to see the overall trend more easily. My apologies for those of you in the older or younger age brackets - I noticed most peopl...

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! Maybe the background doesn't haev enough detail or something? True. I wanted it to look like a bit of papyrus, but if the background is going to be so plain I'd better make sure the rest of the picture is more detailed. The only thing I can think of is that they...

Egyptian/Neopets art... Suggestions, anyone?

This one's been knocked back from the Art Gallery too many times - I think it's time to improve it. The question is, how? http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c208/soph_ee/anubis.jpg Suggestions and criticisms are most welcome. If you've ever studied Ancient Egyptian history, you might recognise the sc...

I'm with you, Skitty - the Art Gallery is where I've made the bulk of my np over the years. The only problem is, I'm useless at computer animation (I'm left-handed with a right-handed mouse and a broken graphics tablet, plus I prefer to draw sitting outside in the sun or somewhere comfy as opposed t...

I can't stand that nose - it looks like its horn is about to fall off.

At least they made the body a bit fluffier - I'm waiting for one to look vaguely like the fully-furred llamameeah, which I adored.
