Re: Mortiking revamp poll - Revamp now complete

i think most everything i've had to say has already been touched upon. i think it can be summed up in two words: EPIC FAIL. sometimes i get the feeling that pets aren't being revamped for the sake of updating their art, but more for the sake of altering them to conform to the artist's particular sty...

Re: Graveyard Chai and Magnus revamp

i was never a fan of chais so i guess it doesn't surprise me that i'm not too fond of the graveyard version. i like the design of and concept of the graveyard magnus, but i think the execution was very poor. my eyes really have trouble focusing on it, as it just looks like a splotchy mass to me. it ...

Re: Mallarchy Revamp + Marsh, Nuclear

the wings, anatomically, are very very wrong. it's completely lacking a humerus.. making it the equivalent of attaching a human elbow to its shoulder.

other than that, it looks decent enough.

Re: Keeto Possible Revamp

the keeto really bothers me as a pet. i'd like it.. if it didn't look like it was lacking any joints in its legs, i think i'd like it a lot. honestly, it looks like it has rigamortis or some severe joint degeneration that's making its legs stick out straight. either way, the revamp doesn't do much f...

at first i liked it - but then i realised that it looked like a stacked dog in a showring. that is, that the front legs are very stiff and under the body. it almost looks like it's leaning forwards over its front legs. if they could make it look a little more relaxed, i think it'd look a lot better.

i find this extremely frustrating. i wish that it was a set path and that you picked so you could work your way through it eventually - but having it be random every time? bah.

i think i'll try a bit more then buckle down and buy the potion myself.

It's . . . well . . . huh. It's okay, but something about the face is really putting me off - the muzzle really is too wolf-like, and the ears are HUGE. Lions have rounded, rather small ears, not floppy pointed ones. And the black claws keep drawing my eyes away from the rest of the Archan. And I k...

not surprised. the mouth is completely askew - it looks agape as if it was kicked in the mouth. the fire is.. sadly anticlimactic.

the species as a whole is a massive disappointment. i wasn't counting on the redraws to make up for it.

I can't afford a spiffy brand new computer myself, so when she goes in there all 'I CAN SEE IT FINE MAYBE YOU GUYS ARE HAVING HARDWARE ISSUES' I feel kind of like she's trying to dumb us down :( don't worry - i HAVE a nice new laptop and it's still too dark. it's not a hardware issue, and i don't t...

the jabot is too small.

and it looks too wide around the "torso" - i'd like to see a bit thiner and whispy.

otherwise, the art is better.

i don't mind the terracoon revamp so much. i like the changes that were made but still think there are a few that are a bit obvious: the way the hair down its spine merges into the tail (it doesn't.), and the rigid base of said spinal hair. the back stripes were smoothed out - but why can't the spin...

just a few things i noticed on first glance: - the pose is stiff and doesn't seem to have any "flow" or movement in it.. - the tail is just.. off. while i think the stripes are cute, i really don't like how each stripe is a "chunk" of different hair. it really doesn't flow and lo...

quite disappointed with the tigrean.. it looks more like a plushie-esque blob. the body really has no definition.

the others look good, but nothing that screams to me to try getting one..

Sunwolf, as I explained in the Revamp Feedback thread, since the Otter has not actually been revamped that particular thread is not the appropiate place to discuss it. I also unlocked the thread and made sure myself and other other staffers were on the same page with regard to where "potential...
