Re: Neopets (and Donna) mentioned on the BBC... briefly
<work hat on> They misidentify Mario Kart Wii as Super Mario Cart in the Wii section immediately before Neopets, which is very poor. And he's not using the strap on his Wiimote properly. Naughty. Also, interesting tracking the production process. In the clip, their Aisha menwho is 40 days old. If yo...

Re: Neopets Founder AMA
Also, whose brilliant idea was the Brain Tree? It's such a weird, original concept for a Halloween creature. Was there ever any explanation or story behind it we never got to see? I think it was just drawn by one of the artists and I came up with a backstory and a (frankly, awful) activity for it. ...

That's amazing, congratulations! (Both the gallery and the achievement, that is.)
And I love that the trophy rather suits your gallery too.

They are. This is a nice way to do an NC tie-in. Those of us who don't care to do NC events still get something pretty to keep.

I've been reading your cryptic posts and hoping it would be something like this, but I didn't imagine that it would be so awesome. Cats! A life of cats!
So very happy for you. Also, amused at your slightly more diplomatic wording on FB vs your very honest wording here ;0)

Re: April Fools: foster pets
I got her! I did a search in the pound and thought I'd lost her, then when I searched the name on the site in general I thought maybe she hadn't existed at all. Or, you know, I'd misremembered her name which is rather more likely. Especially as her creation date was correct for a cybunny. Thankfully...

Damnit! What did my random event do? Zap my shiny new background into non-existence! I'm not amused.

Re: April Fools: foster pets
GDI, I finally got a foster (dice-a-roo took an age!) and it's one I'd actually rather like to keep. But I imagine she'll get snapped up quickly - LE pet with a lovely name.
Oh well. I fed her all the food I won on dice-a-roo, so she's happy.

That's very exciting, and how fun that you got to be involved in it - even if it sounds like it maybe wasn't fun at the time. And hurrah for enduring long distance relationships which lead to engagement! They're the best kind. (And if I can offer one tip for a wedding? Buy Lego. It's much cheaper th...

Re: New Paint Brush - Pastel
If the brush comes down in price nicely (big if there...) I can see this being a great substitute for faerie - previously that's only really been the way to get gentle, pastelly pets. (Except striped, which I've always hated the default colours on.) So whilst it's not likely to ever tempt me (I don'...

Re: NC Holiday Card Exchange 2013!
If they can bring a certain amount of Australian warmth and dryness that would be awesome. Have you ever tried drying out a garage (and its contents) when you've got 8 hours daylight and it's only just above freezing? Challenging is the word. Also, you can rest assured that your card will be deliver...
