It was hard to see in the list of flower events. Anf the give a flower button was under the greenhouse picture, I think it was a big blue one.

Okay, I'm caught up (almost) :) I have some problems getting the new flowers for my TC, I would love to trade old flowers for the newest ones with people who don't want those specific flowers to give to people! I also need some tips, aside from questing/battling what do you people do to get flowers?...
