Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe
That's another minor issue for me--I spent most of my exp way wrong. No one told me "put it all in HP" when I started, and a lot of it got wasted on str/def instead. So Mezz is really well-rounded, but the Real Battlers on subeta think that's stupid. I'd love to re-spend it all, and we we...

Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe
Also, Wings, I'm not sure why you'd say you're not expecting any challengers in tier 6. The next monthly opponent is the t6. We also have tiers 12, 3, 8, 4, and 7 left, probably in that order -- so there's a lot coming up for you to fight. We also have more permanent challengers in the pipeline and...

Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe
If the idea is that you can train reasonably quickly if you also do all the battle quests and Shinwa quests every day, maybe so. I can see how I'd add maybe 3 extra stat points every 2 days with Battle Quests. I don't know how good Shinwa quests are since unless things have changed, IIRC they're a p...

Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe
OK, then, revise my previous comment to read: "Ah. I'm not sure think of 'It's not hard if you're willing to spend $7.50 a month or 26+ million sP a month on training a single pet' as being the same as 'not hard'. (Guess how much sP I make a month? Hint: it's WAY less than 26 million.) EDIT: I ...

Ah. I'm not sure think of "It's not hard if you're willing to spend $7.50 a month on training a single pet" as being the same as "not hard". Part of the complaints is that it's too hard to accomplish anything by playing the game on the site as opposed to throwing cash at the site...

Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe
(It's not hard to get to t5 or t6 -- I started training two little pets a couple months ago and they are already at t5 -- and there are a lot of affordable weapons around that point.) Wait, what!?! I started seriously training my pet in August 2012 (I handily made a forum post then so I know) and I...

Yeah, that's by no means obvious. Thanks!Foghawk wrote:You need to click on them in the main armory list (that is, the faded-out versions), not in the equipped weapons list. Confused me too.

Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe
Yeah, I figure that if you can't draw, and don't want to spend lots of real money, you're never going to be rich on Subeta. It's just too hard to make any substantial amount of sP by actually playing the game. I mean, 37 million "cheap"? I have 38 million in the bank right now, that's an u...

I played a couple games, saw how many games I would need to get to Rank 1, and quit. Bored now.

Re: Spectrum & Blacklight Irion
I find them... very slanty. Also, something about the angle of the head and the line of the jaw seems off, somehow. Like the line of the lower jaw goes all the way to a spot near the tip of the beak. That's actually how heads look when they're tilted down, though, right? I mean, I freaked out my mo...

Re: Tigrean Revamp (Completed May 31, 2013)
I hadn't really noticed the forefoot, but now that it's been pointed out, yeah. From the location it should be resting on the ground, but it's clearly not -- there's no weight being put on it. The animal isn't walking, so it's like the paw is suspended there right above the ground for no apparent re...

Re: Tigrean Revamp (Completed May 31, 2013)
Mmm. I'm mostly worried what's going to happen to my Reborn and Glacier Tigreans, two pets I adore. I've had a number of pets "de-vamped" now and it's getting old.

Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe
Two achievements: One, I finally got the OTHER CW that was in the Cash Shop that I was waffling over buying for long enough that, by the time I decided to buy it, it had been removed from the Cash Shop. So I can stop kicking myself over that one. Note to self: In the future, stop drooling over CW. T...
