Back... sort of
After being gone from Neopia for another year or so, I got bored. And getting bored usually means I get the urge to play a silly mindless game or two. Something like Hasee Bounce or Scourge of the Lab Jellies. But the only way to do that is to log in. And then one is faced with pets, and items, and ...

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
Thank you, your words mean a lot to me. 12 years is a long life for a dog of his size, the vet also said that. He was always a good-natured boy, never agressive or vicious, though sometimes stubborn. If he didn't want to do the thing you wanted him to do (go outside, come inside, move), he just woul...

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
Our dog died. Two hours after everyone had lifted their champagne glasses to greet the new year, he died. He was a 12 yo German shepherd/Caucasian shepherd mix, with a heart as big as his body. We took him on the same day that I was graduating from junior high school, and having my ceremony - I coul...

A pinched nerve hurts A LOT so I really hope the medication will help! I am thinking about George!
Re: Knitting!
I personally have been on a sock kick, although I'm starting to get a little socked out. They're great portable projects and keep my feet toasty, though. Yeah! That's exactly how I feel. They're a good portable project (I have to take a 25-minute train or bus ride every day to work and back again) ...

Re: Various nondescript christmas related thread.
I always have such hard time thinking about what I want when people ask me. Basically, I can buy the small things that occasionally pop into my mind myself (like a soft-cover book or a new scarf), and nobody can afford to buy me the big things that I want (like a week-long trip to somewhere where it...
Re: Lolcat
Thanks a lot, I really loved the lolrats! Rats have such good body language so it's easy to make the macrosAngharadTy wrote:I prefer lolrats because the cats are overdone.
Lolcat
Today I became aware of the term "lolcat." I am probably the last person on this planet who hadn't heard about it yet but just in case there's still a couple of others like me, I wanted to post here. Just something I thought I would share. I've been watching the pictures here for an hour n...

*Wow.* That was all I could think after reading the story. *Wow!*
Can I borrow your vet? Everyone could use a Dr. Bradley - that was one of the most conciderate things I've heard of in months.

Re: Dogs Starved for Art (WARNING: Not for Faint Hearted!)
I am not going to look at the pics because it's not art, it's a crime and I probably would be sick. But I think that they should do jail time for this. No fine would ever be enough for deliberately inflicting pain on an animal.

My thoughts are with you. I myself have a funeral to go to tomorrow, my grandmother's older brother died at the age of 79. He spent his last month in the same hospital where I work, only at a different floor, in a different unit. But I still got to visit him throughout his last month. It felt kind o...
