Re: Chocolate and Water Krawk
Chocolate: For some reason the icing defies space as it doesn't darken in shaded areas - for example, the piping on the tail is the same color as the piping on the left arm. Other than that, it's pretty decent, though i kind of feel like those spikes should have been waffle cone pieces, especially ...

Re: Polka Dot and ? Shoryu
Oh dear, this poor green Shoru's caught some sort of horrible disease. Seriously though, what in the world is going on here? Shoyru's tails have always had the same coloration as their bodies, as have the outer wings. If the green areas were polkadot as well this would be fine, but as it is it looks...

Re: Dimensional and Pastel Chomby
Dimensional: Nice glowing effects and good texture. I'm not a big fan of magenta personally, but it doesn't hurt the eyes. Pastel: I don't see why the spot couldn't be the same color as the spikes - there's not really a need to bring a third color in there, especially when it's not super different f...

Re: Pastel and Wraith Mynci
Pastel: Why does it look like it wants to fight somebody? They didn't just give it the angry expression by accident - angry Myncis don't look like that. Anyway, this is fine. The saturation could've stood to be increased just a hair to keep it from looking faded. Also, where are its head hairs? Wrai...

Re: Tyrannian and Dimensional Tonu
Tyrannian: It's not all that complex, but not bad or anything. I would've added a second or third horn just to spice it up a little, and maybe gave the horn the chipped texture of the toes. Odd how the tail got shorter - making it longer would've felt more natural to me. I feel like something else c...

Re: 8-bit and Woodland Lenny
8-bit: This is nice! The pose could have stood to be a bit different, but the pixelation is well done. It's also one of the few 8-bits I've seen where the clothes actually add to the pet and don't look tacked on. Woodland: I'm glad to see they went with a specialized plant - a palm tree was a great ...

Re: Maractite and Maraquan Chia
Maractite: Not bad at all, though it could have done without the markings on the lighter parts of the body so it isn't so busy. I also feel like the body color could have stood to be a hair darker to make the markings stick out more. Maraquan: This is really nice! Great choice in animal, good color ...

Re: Transparent and Swamp Gas Zafara
Transparent: This is pretty good! Aside from the collarbone like Angharad mentioned, everything looks reasonably accurate. Though agreed that the spikes should be connected to something, probably as bones connected directly to the spine dinosaur-style, and some of the shading looks a bit flat. Also,...

Re: Elderly Kacheek
These are both great! The elderly male's hair looks great, especially the detail on the tail tip, and they actually took the time to redraw the hand so it's properly holding the cane. The female's not quite as good, but the glasses are adorable and there are still plenty of nice little details in th...

Re: Eventide and Pastel Elephante
Eventide: The gradient on the body's horribly flat, but they did make sure it was different on the trunk and wings, so that's something. The different colored nails look quite nice. Pastel: Very pretty! The colors work well together and everything looks about the right tint. I kind of wish the yello...

Huh, that was an expected surprise. This is nice - the scarf's a good touch, and I love the carrots in place of claws. Very cute.

Re: Ice and Custard Buzz
Wow, the new anime paint brush looks fantastic.
Ice: Looks pretty, well, icy. The icicles on the wings are a nice touch.
Custard: It seems a bit too well-shapen to be ice cream, but then again that gives it the benefit of passing as a nice off-white base color. Not bad, just average.

Re: Camoflage and Polka Dot Gnorbu
Camouflage: The problem with this is that the print goes straight across, almost like the artist just set the layer to overlay. If the pattern on the mane just bent with it a bit more, this would be perfect. It's not awful or anything as is, not even really bad, just a bit low-effort. Polka-dot: I g...

Re: Relic and Clay Aisha
Relic: Eh, it's fine, but some more detail and texture would've really helped. It also would've been cool to have one of the ears broken off, as think points like that are usually the spot that breaks over time. Or heck, even just a bit of moss would've been a nice touch. Clay: This used to be a Kik...

Re: Maractite Xweetok
This is pretty nice and very shiny. Interestingly enough the base color seems lighter than it usually is, and the darker accents are reserved for the mane. My only problem is that the edge of the tail seems to be the same color as the mane, when it should be the body color and have markings on it. I...
