There were somewhere around 15 cookies, but deleting them worked. Thanks!

I posted this to the NC LJ community but I thought I'd add it here.

When I went back to work yesterday (after being out of town for a week) I found that I can no longer log in to the forums when I'm at work. I can't be sure but given the timing it seems likely it's related to the upgrade.

Help?

At any rate, congratulations!

You can read a bulletin from Sussex University on the study here. This work was described as a study, and from the description I doubt there were any surveys or statistical analyses involved. It appears to be a description and comparison of the goth lifestyle in several areas. I think concluding got...

As compared to what? I guess I'm old but while I'm familiar with "Goth" -- we had goths when I was in high school -- I haven't the damndest idea what the term Emo or Chav means. I guess my first question with something like that is whether they're comparing goths to people with similar soc...

It's pretty. And, there's quick reply! But, am I the only one for whom the text only takes up 2/3 of the screen going across when I read the threads?

On the index pages the text stretches to the full screen but on the threads the leftmost third of the page is grey.

Sure, there are 1600 shopkeepers, but if you got 16 volunteers (I'd volunteer) that's 100 per person, which shouldn't be a big deal.

The only problem is having a person or people in charge of KEEPING it updated.

That and the coding and stuff. :-)

It's not all THAT big a gauge, really... Lion claims Homspun knits up at 3.5 stitches per inch, which is fairly standard chunky-weight. I did it on 10 needles. It's big compared to 9 st/inch  but not one of those "big needles fast knits" things. I think the issue is that the pattern...

Knitted Peophin

Yes, I know it's very, very strange that after not doing Neopets projects for literally years, the timing has worked out such that I completed two during the same weekend. Sorry for those who have already seen this post on the LiveJournal knitting community. :-) Yarn: Lion Brand Homespun in Gothic. ...

A few remarks: Ziggy -- I could say almost the same thing about drawing. I can't do it, but then again I also don't practice. :-) Cheshire Dragon -- He's about 11 inches tall including the base. Just the figure is about 9.5 inches tall. Umbreonmog - Yep, I submitted him to the AG just before I poste...

General Kass! (2.7 MB of pictures. No joke.)

For the Winter 2006 Olympics, a well-known knitting blogger (yes, they make those) proposed the 2006 Knitting Olympics. Every particpant had to choose a project that would be a challenge to complete in the 16 days that the Olympics ran. They couldn't start before the flames were lit and had to finis...

Random logging out?

I don't know about anytone else, but I seem to be having the same problem I was having at the original slashcity address (though not at the empire.net redirect) -- the site periodically logs me out and marks all messages read in the process.

Dude. People. It's a 404 page. Jazzy was kind enough to put it together; we don't need to bug her to change something that (hopefully) we won't be seeing much. On the other hand, given that it would literally take 10 seconds for someone to change it, no reason for people not to submit opinions. :sh...
