Re: Dragon Name Change and Capital Lettered Pet Names Thread
Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just edit the news post, capitalize the names of the pets, and let it go? And send the message that staff will basically undo anything if a few hundred people complain, with or without a poll? That implies that we basically can never act on our own judgment or initiat...

Re: Dragon Name Change and Capital Lettered Pet Names Thread
Not everyone speaks English and knows that the 'g' in reign is silent. That's like telling people who aren't familiar with Dutch names that something rhymes with Stijn. Rain was just a simpler word to use. If your English is decent enough for you to be able to read and understand the news in the fi...

Re: Dragon Name Change and Capital Lettered Pet Names Thread
Not capitalizing the names just makes it look like the staff is too lazy to put the extra effort in that's required to hit the Shift key. next thing we know all world text will look like this what with the lack of punctuation and capitalization and it gets boring and tedious to read hey Have I real...

Re: Revamped Items, Minions, Etc.
Then perhaps I'm misusing the word "species". What is the word "cat" or "tiger" as compared to Koala or Golden Retriever? Our point is that the names of our pet varieties are common nouns, not proper. The names of our colors are no more special than gray or white. They'...

Re: Revamped Items, Minions, Etc.
Exactly my point, Ty. Had we not mentioned the Welsh inspiration, that would have been one less thing to complain about. It's something that I, personally, feel is irrelevant as to whether or not a person likes the new name. It doesn't bother me that people dislike the double R or find it pretentiou...

Re: Revamped Items, Minions, Etc.
But for the sake of cheese please don't take a Neopets turn and decide that listening to those same users is now just not worth the effort. Oh, no no! It's not that listening to the users isn't worth the effort to me. And again, I know it's hard to accept, but I'm speaking from a personal standpoin...

Re: Revamped Items, Minions, Etc.
In places where the title capitalization doesn't apply, i.e., news posts, item descriptions, lore.

Re: Revamped Items, Minions, Etc.
Why bother explaining though when the outcome is not any better than had we just kept quiet? That's my particular point. If our goal is to get users as excited about a change as we are by sharing our motives and logic, and it instead serves to incite people to further disgust and outrage, why should...

Re: Revamped Items, Minions, Etc.
So, we should do it because Neopets does it? I saw the same argument made with naming Halloween, and I couldn't believe it. How many people would be in line to mock us if we made decisions on the basis of what Neopets was doing? Personally, I think that makes no sense. No one is saying users have to...

Goldenchaos is right. The archan's head is actually disconnected completely. That's the spine hanging out.

Re: Nightmare Celinox and Graveyard Popoko
Since I don't see where anyone has mentioned it, the popoko's tail is actually severed. There is a small fluff of it remaining on the back of the popoko, and the rest of it is in its paw, thus the bone showing.

Aww, I'm disappointed that the stuffing the warador is actually holding in on its abdomen wasn't noticed. It is, indeed, in a lot of pain.

Re: Revamped Items, Minions, Etc.
I was looking at Bonechewer's Chewy Bones, in my Ossuary, the section full of gummy candy and lollipops and such. I found out that these: http://images.subeta.net/items/food_skullgum_red.gif ... have each been renamed to "Skull Candy Wafer." Wafer?! Shiniest damn wafer ever... The art has...
