Re: New plot: War of the Obelisk
I went with the book one. And quickly got my Deathwinks to over 100 intelligence with books I had multiples of in my SDB. So that was kinda nice. Wish I had taken the time to buy up books for that specifically and get it to someplace more impressive with a little investment, but maybe next time. Hig...

Re: New plot: War of the Obelisk
Just a reminder that this round ends tomorrow night! Sunday, July 28th, NST.
I'm crossing my fingers for a Seekers win, I got in my battles.

Re: So I have this thing now
I like dobes a lot, although it's weird for me to see them with natural ears and tail! I couldn't figure out why the pretty dog didn't register as "doberman" to me until you said this. I'm sure I've seen natural dobes before, I'm just not sure I recognized them as such. But, ohmygosh, tha...

I'm pretty sure being awesome is the best way to combat that kind of bigotry Madge. Being out is really hard - so congrats on doing what you have! It's kinda boggling that being a terrific partner can get overshadowed so easily. I'm glad to hear things are getting better, and I hope they continue th...

Re: Sports & Fitness
That is really impressive Fury, congrats! I definitely have no upper body strength and get embarrassed by it. That kind of progress in a year seems pretty awesome, and I might have to try this sometime. Though, at the moment, I've been starting jogging. I'm still at a pretty meager pace and distance...

Re: Editorial Time!
I enjoyed this week's editorial, particularly the last question: http://www.neopets.com/ntimes/index.pht ... &issue=603
Talking about other games on a game site initially confused me, so I'm amused by the handling.

This has amused me. My lab has a sense of humor, and turned my new lab rat into a purple yurble. Fits on my account pretty well, actually! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v45/thelonetiel/purplemonsters_zpsd68d533f.jpg One of these things is not like the others, one of these things does not belong....

Re: New plot: War of the Obelisk
I appreciate the reminders Bif! And the commentary on who the Neoboards think will win. :D Even if I totally keep forgetting to do my minimum battles to get the loot when they win... Does anyone know if this is falling on a consistent schedule? Ie, signups are on Monday, battles start Wednesday, and...

Re: Tigrean Revamp (Completed May 31, 2013)
That face! ._. There's a little face in the brow of the Tigrean and I can't not see it. I keep using that as my visual focal point instead of the actual eyes. I don't have a lot of other commentary, the art is nice but I liked the old art too, and I'm not sure I like the new art as much. And the Chi...

Re: Pokefusion!
That kind of sprite is *way* better done - very cute! I think the appeal of the generator is just because it is able to be random (or close enough), which means combinations that are really unintuitive pop up. Though yeah, some of the combos really suffer from awkward face shapes and positions. Or l...

Re: Chibi Chai & Fester Revamp
Baby birds tend to have really splayed hips! At least, a lot of parrots do, though admittedly by the time they have that well developed feathers, that's not as obvious of a characteristic (probably both due to feathers covering the hip joint, and the increased tendency to sit on their feet instead o...

Pokefusion!
This is probably old, but I ran across this Pokefusion thing today. It patches together pokemon (first 120ish at the moment) sprites and hilarity ensues. But I've seen some awesome art coming from it, and had to participate myself (since I've been itching to art anyway). My Magneish: http://thelonet...

Re: Can't remember the birthday on Neopets
Do you have any friends who have the account as a Neofriend? That can give you the age of the account (or it used to), which helps a little bit. You can also submit a ticket with information about the account, and if they think it's enough to prove you're the owner, they can give you the password an...

Re: Chibi Harvester & Torrey Revamp
You're right, there are more exceptions than I thought. I still don't understand it - it seems like a weird place to have so little consistency. Based on the majority of the color schemes, I did think that chibi was intended to be a cutified version of the common and am surprised that's not actually...

Re: Chibi Harvester & Torrey Revamp
I'm confused by the Torrey - Aren't Chibi pets traditionally in the Common color scheme? Which is brown for the Torrey. The Chibi Swampie is the only other exception I can find. Both have cute art, though the Torrey doesn't seem too "chibi". The Harvester reminds me of Marvin the Martian f...
