Re: Forum host move!

So how long before we can stay logged in instead of having to log in with every visit? :-)

Re: Darkmatter Irion Revamp and Darkmatter Cybill

I actually don't really like that the Darkmatter Irion looks evil and malicious, since my DM Irion isn't supposed to be evil. I don't know that I dislike it enough to change him into something else, though. (Not sure what else would work for a pet named "Stormwind" anyway.) The Cybill is a...

Re: Weapons/ Battling questions

I think it's a more-than-minor achievement, too! I've gotten close but still haven't managed it yet.

Re: Human avatars

Well, they've now broken the Pawn Shop CW list into pages. This makes it load much faster and makes it harder to monitor items for a possible price drop (since I can no longer do a find in page search). Anyone know how long it takes before the price drops, anyway? After only making one HA between th...

Re: New Plot: The Case of the Missing Jewels

Today seems to be the end to be the end of the mini-plot, and you do get some pretty items for finishing. So it's a short plot with nice prizes... if only it weren't for the Crypts and Leviathan steps. (I was afraid they were going to make you get to Mama Mush in Polar Ice Fields, too, but luckily t...

Re: New Plot: The Case of the Missing Jewels

It doesn't seem to like it if you go over the maximum number of guesses doing this -- at least, it didn't for me.

Re: New Plot: The Case of the Missing Jewels

Trivia fun fact, picked up from the forums:

In Leviathans, If you click on the same square repeatedly as the page is loading, each click will count as a guess. This fact makes this step much, MUCH easier.

Currently waiting on going back into the polar ice fields.

Re: New Plot: The Case of the Missing Jewels

So a 25% chance on any given try? That makes me one of the unlucky 1/4 of users who still don't have it after 5 tries.

Still too small for something you can only do once an hour.

Re: New Plot: The Case of the Missing Jewels

Yeah, I like events and all, but honestly? I could have used a break instead of heading straight from Reading Drive into this into Morostide. Also, plot steps that require a random drop in game that you can only play once an hour? So not fun. As it happens, I *do* sit in front of a computer all day,...

Re: Nerdy scientist Caliph's Tomb post :-)

That's interesting information about Crypts.

I've wondered about the probabilities associated with the Ice Fields, myself, but not enough to actually track them.

Re: Nerdy scientist Caliph's Tomb post :-)

:headdesk: You're right, it is 20k per win. Which is even better, and means I made 4,360,000 over the course of the experiment. I think I was mixing it up with the 10 sent games allowed per day. I find that Tubular Tiles takes too long to play to be worth the payout, but maybe I'm just not that good...

Nerdy scientist Caliph's Tomb post :-)

So during EpiCon, Caliph's Tomb came to my attention. I like Pyramid, but hate how hard it is to win, and was pleased to discover that the two rightmost Caliph's Tomb layouts were pretty easy to win and pay 10k sP per win for up to 10 wins a day (provided you only send wins). I started wondering whi...

Re: Weapons/ Battling questions

For your RIWoD, I'd mod it with Parched Baguettes. You can never be too careful, especially with opponents like the Hustler, who can steal your weapons practically every turn (or he'll be cheap and use an Extremely Emo Spork first round -grumbles-). So yes, Parched Baguettes are your friends. I thi...

(Do the mod crystals have images? They sound really pretty...) Yup, they're regular items like any other. And yup, they're pretty! You can see them here: Tear crystals: http://www.subetalodge.org/list_all/search/tear+crystal/mode/name Baguette crystals: http://www.subetalodge.org/list_all/search/ba...
