Hm, is there any way the comments can retain their spaces in the ratings? I mean, my poor ratings look a tad squished (as, I do Pros and Cons, and I usually put a space between them to separate them). If you mean horizontal (more than one space after each other) - no, not just like that, because HT...

I've made the text fixes... Excluding the Invisible pets would give some performance issues. <tech>The current queries join up rather ineffectively, using an ALL for the initial releasedcombos table, and already using fieldsorts and other ugly inefficient things. Adding a WHERE-clause to these table...

The site uses basically the same code to handle cookies as the forum, except that it should be less likely to log you out because it doesn't update the forum tables (online-table and other session-handling things) and some similar stuff like that. It sounds more likely that your cookies in general a...

Maybe I should switch the toggle after all - it's not all that obvious. I want to get a bit more data in first, though, for some more testing.Joeno wrote:They're currently not displayed by default (although I might switch the default soon). Go to the Options page to toggle it.

Listing further pet stats (included your highest ratings) is something I want to add in a while, but I'll need to do a bit of performance and other testing first - I'm not sure what the effect will be of constantly joining two large tables like I'm already doing, and what effect adding more of those...

Fixing it isn't that difficult. Using the top dropdown boxes, just select the pet you want to update, and it should show you the current rating and comment you've entered, and allow you to change it. I know it works. I spend an hour or two getting it to work because of a single lower-than that shoul...

They're currently not displayed by default (although I might switch the default soon). Go to the Options page to toggle it. One week is, in my opinion, too early. With the more interesting pets, discussion can go on for four to five days - and with Neopets sometimes waiting one to two days with uplo...

There's a link to Ratings in the menu at the top of the site pages (although you need to be logged in to see it). As for the two months - I realise it might be a tad long, and I will have to consider change it in the future. I'll have to see whether this works best. For now, however, there's plenty ...

I'm not currently monitoring the comments people make, and don't have anything set up to do so yet. I might put that in later, if it becomes a problem. The displayed average is pre-adjustment. What actually happens is that (with an average of 5.41) your scores are multiplied by 5.5/5.41 As for ratin...

New feature: Pet ratings!
Long-time visitors might remember that some time ago, Sam had a not yet finished ratings script uploaded that basically allowed people to give a rating from 1 to 10 to colours. It never was completely finished, but I know I at least liked it. Because of this I have just spend some time recreating th...

Fixed. There's a bug in either easymod, or some other editor or patcher or whatever, that strips linebreaks from the inserted data. This caused a couple of variables related to the gender mod to all be on one line. Since the first line is a comment, the others were automatically commented out as wel...

You're not logged in, according to the site. The upgrade to the forums yesterday made a lot of changes to how cookies and the like are handled internally. I simply have not had the time yet to completely fix their handling on the site. I've got some ideas on where the problems lies, however, so it s...

Nah, not old enough yet that I can't revive it for it.. I don't see what has changed, but the script told me that there were changed made - or that at the very least the date changed. Compare for yourself It might be shading - crappy laptop screen doesn't allow me to take a good look at it. The beat...
