Royal Boy and Royal Girl Krawks

Post by thelonetiel »

Finally, I've been wanting to see these for a while...

I like the boy. But, that is probably because he matches the custom design of my royal hissi to be and so I have the perfect fall back if the royal hissi turns out crappy.

But, the royal girl, it has rather creepy bulging eyes in circle and happy. Rather fond of the other poses though, particuarly angry and beaten.

I think they'd be interesting, were it not for the distracting staffs and mega-large "championship wrestler" style belts.

I would've liked to have seen a less European style royalty and perhaps something a bit more exotic. I'm still holding out for a Lost Desert Krawk.

The Royalboy sure is flashy.
Not sure I like the Royalgirls colors though.
They get a "Meh, they're okay" from me.

Glee! These are so cute! I'd half a mind to up Arige from a mercenary to a horribly-clumsy princess.

I...don't hate the girl. I don't like that she's just plain blue, but other than that, the poses are quite nice, and the dress is pretty. Sooo...not good, but not awful.

The boy... urgh. Nifty battle poses, but other than that... not much going for him. Plain yellow, gross.

And what's with them looking exactly alike? I mean, usually the Royal pairs are somewhat similar to each other, but this is ridiculous.

*sigh* These could have been so, so good. If they had just waited a couple months and let Shoomy do them. I mean, think about it. Royalgirl Flotsam + Maraquan Krawk. Eeeee.

I like his battle poses and her clothes - - and that's about the sum of it.

As usual, Topher is right - they should've waited for Shroomy. Since they didn't, I'm going to have to see if the girl grows on me as a Boochi guard. So far, I'm sticking with the "repaint Maigrey" option.

But since I didn't hate them on first sight, one or the other might yet grow on me.

Or, better yet, they may release a great Altadorian Krawk.

And unpainted Snorkles may yet fly. We'll see.

Does that sceptre make him king of the red hot chilli peppers? The effects in the defended and ranged attack poses are top notch, but there's nothing else about this pet that I like. I don't much care for krawks to begin with, but I've seen a couple pieces of fanart that could sway my opinion. I am immensly relieved that the royalgirl doesn't have breasts, and her hair is sufficiently believable for a krawk. However, without the flashy bd poses, she's got absolutely nothing else going for her.

Royalgirl Flotsam + Maraquan Krawk.Eeeee.

If I could combine them both in the cooking pot, with a sprinkle of essence of shroomy, I'd have the ultimate aristocratic flesh ripping sea monster.

I really like the character of the girl. The only thing that puts me off is the dress. It's pretty, sure, but scarlet red on blue skin isn't the best fashion choice. I really want to like the pet as a whole rather than just a part of it, but when I focus on the big picture, it's garish.

The boy's meh. At least I'm not tempted to get another Krawk.

The royalboy is pretty sweet, and I very much <3 the septre.

The royalgirl is nice, but the disappearing septre is kind of a putoff. I suppose she hid it in her dress....

I wish they had better base colours, maybe a pinkish, purplish. The Royalboy's battedome poses are really great with stuff fyling everywhere and the royalgirl beaten pose is cute.

I actually somewhat like the Royal Boy Krawk, for the Happy pose alone:

<i>"Now that I've demonstrated my abilities, perhaps you should give me your NeoPoints before I punish you."</i>

Now, as for the girl, where is her staff in half the BD poses? It's not like it can appear out of nowhere...

Hey, I actually quite like these. Not the best Royal pets, but they've got personality, for sure. The boy has that awesome zappy stick of death and the girl actually manages to make hair on a reptile pet look somewhat believable. And you gotta love that beaten pose. :) Colors aren't bad either.

The first thought I had was "King of the 'doggy lipstick'" I'm just sick I guess. They both are okay. I like warm colors, so I'm drawn to the boy immediately.

The colors on the boy are nice and the girl isn't so bad ether. They do look elegant in a way. But there is really nothing about them that would make me want them for myself : /

Just noticed something...maybe I'm crazy, but it's gotta be hella hard to hold a septre behind your back with both hands while attacking and she probably should be holding it in front (or with one hand) for it to make sense.

Either that, or she's showing off her new EXTREEEEEEMMEEE piercing. "Through the armpits is the new rage! Sure, it's going through some vital organs, but who cares!"
