On a side-note... Tyrannian? Looks more like mutant or darigan to me... though it does kind of resemble a prehistoric (robot) insect.

That was my exact reaction upon seeing this... this beautiful, fearsome beast.

Though I agree that it's more Darigan than Tyrannian.

Edit: Yes, after recovering, I'd say "Robot/Mutant hybrid" sums it up pretty well. It reminds me of some kind of Transformer thing that I can't put my finger on because I never watched those kinds of shows as a kid. I think this will definitely delight Battledomers.

My only gripe is that there's a bit much detail in a small space and the colours are a little washed out. The iffiness of the shading shows most on the tail.

Whoa. That's...interesting. Definitely doesn't look Tyrannian. Lots of nice detail, though. Doesn't appeal to me, but it's nicely done.

Although that tail just looks messy. It looks as if they forgot it was meant to have a tail and just shoved it on there when they remembered.

A nice segmented tail would have finished that off nicely. Ditch the silly spikes on the end too.

HOLY CRAP. I love this thing. It's so damn evil - maybe even more so than Darigan - and it's a cheap color, too! PWNAGE!

Too much detail, not enough distinction. It all gets lost. It took me a long time staring at the beaten pose especially to figure out what's going on there. The 80x80 poses look ridiculous. Can't tell what it is at all.

Happy and sad are far too identical.

It has some nice ideas, but it doesn't look Tyrannian (as mentioned already), and it's too hard for me to tell what's what. I don't like it.

I was going to see the Flotsam colors (for my sister who is negleting her pet) when I saw this pet. My gosh! Ditto those who say this looks nothing like Tyrannian, but it rocks.

He looks more Darigan than Tyrannian to me but he still looks nice.

His poses aren't very different, I mean, they're very similar with each other. The Happy, Sad and Angry poses looks almost the same, the only difference is in his eyes. Maybe they were kinda lazy.. dunno.
And the beaten pose is a bit weird, that yellow stuff around his neck.. but his teeths are amazing LMAO!

But I still like it..

As just about everyone's mentioned, it doesn't look Tyrannian, but instead more like Mutant.

It is cramped, but man is this thing awsome. I don't want one, but I wouldn't mind staring at it for a while if it was zapped by my ray until I got a new change.

I agree that it's far too detailed for the size of the images. I guess that's what happens when you cram three pets' worth of <i>awesome</i> into a single redraw. Because of the busyness of the linework, this is one of the very few pets that might have been improved by less detailed coloring (don't quote me) -- however, I love the colors, and love that it looks almost iridescent, or as iridescent as something in a cel-shaded drawing can.

I also agree that doesn't really work as a 'Tyrannian' pet, being both Darigan-colored and vastly more mutant than the mutant (actually, the rather primitive-looking mutant Buzz makes a more convincing Tyrannian Buzz than this does), but still....
