Incidentally, if anybody here is particularly interested in the goings on of the Tomato Genetics Co-operative (and you have a time machine) they held the First International Symposium on Tomato Disease June 21-24 2004 in Walt Disney World, Florida.

Whether or not Mickey would be giving a lecture was not specified.

Hee. I've been to a conference at Disney World, though not on tomato disease. Disney has built lots of resort-y type hotels as part of Disney World and some of them have conference centers, so you can have conferences there just like at any other hotel.

Overall the place had mixed reviews as a conference center. People with kids liked it because they could bring their spouse and kids and send them off to Disney World. On the other hand, the hotel restaurant was very expensive and there was no place else to get lunch, nor was there any place to get food after midnight-ish. On the other hand, being able to take the shuttles to all the restaurants and entertainment and shops that are part of "Downtown Disney" and so forth was pretty cool.

We now return to our regularly scheduled counting. (I suppose I should help count further but I can't be bothered to upload the stuff to Photobucket.)
