Poogles Not Released?

Aren't limited edition pets usually released on their pet day? Yesterday I logged in as, I'd been wanting a Poogle for sometime and checked periodically through the day (both on Neopets and other fan sites) but found no indication that Poogles were ever released for Create-a-Pet. Did I miss it? Did it not happen?
