Hmmm. Neopian canon has always been a bit shifty on the existence of electricity, so one wonders what was meant to be powering them in the first place.

There are a few other string light items, as well as all the lamps and such for neohomes. Maybe they have magical ligt faeries in the wires, but they definitely have electric-type lamps.

The first item appears to be glitched; it has no item type and can't be played with. The second is pretty, but to my mind would have been equally nice as a wearable item.

RD, I don't really see that as a glitch. Not sure implying that your pets should play with scissors is a good idea :P

I hate how all the Neohomes items have a stupid picture of a house in the corner. I want to be able to put them in my gallery if they're pretty,but that stupid house just irks me.

Ohh the garland is pretty, but I think I'd like it better if it could actually be worn. I don't care much about Neohomes.
The scissors don't impress me much, though I guess the name is kinda cool.

if i remember correctly there's already a snowflake-cut-out looking garland that's wearable....it came out like last year i think..lol

I wish I could get excited about the Neohome items, but none of them work in classic Neohomes anymore, only new Neohomes. And, I still can't get new Neohomes to work properly.

Too bad, since this is pretty and the Neohome items used to be my favorite part of the Advent Calendar.

Advent calendar is currently glitched and the prizes don't appear in your inventory. They'll probably reset the calendar later in the day, but you can not collect just to be on the safe side.

That aside, is it just me or animations so far haven't been all that great art wise? That lenny today... just urgh. I don't remember the ones from yesterday and the day before that well (and I don't see them uploaded on jellyneo's usual spot) but I remember not being all that impressed. Where are they hiding the good artists?

Not only aren't the animations too great, but they also all seem really really short. Or is it just me?

They are short, even by neopets' standards. And remember the kyrii and krawk on the first day? They both looked atrocious (though, the krawk was far worse than the kyrii).

Damn, I should have come here before I collected -- I didn't get my items. Hopefully I can get them later today.

I've also noticed this about the animations so far this year -- they're short, the art hasn't been good, and they're not really very interesting in terms of humor, plot, etc. compared to previous years. I hope they start getting better as the season progresses.
