Hey guys,

I wanted to have a thread that showed off specifically my wire-wrapped jewelry - so I'm making a thread here.

I've been making this type of jewelry now for almost a year, and I absolutely love it. I am self-taught and love a challenge. :) I even created my own little "company" called 'Down To The Wire".

Lately I've been selling my wares online, and every once in awhile I hold sales. I like to have a sale when I have new "signature" items available. Currently there is a sale going on until the end of this month (July) where you can buy two and get one free plus free shipping. :) I am always willing to take commissions or special requests!

My website: http://www.downtothewire.ca/

My online store: http://www.etsy.com/shop/dttwJewelry

Now, onto the pictures! (Warning - there are LOTS!)

I love the insects! Those are new to me. And so cute. The moths are my favorite (if my identification skills work on jewelry at all!). I like the combination of wire colors.

Some of these are so so incredibly pretty. It must have taken so long to get all the wire details and swirlies!
Do you have any pictures of them being worn? It's hard for me to judge size based on just pictures.

Ty - Thanks so much! Your identification skills are correct as well - there are two moths (the purple/brown and golden ones). :)

Seerow - It did take awhile to get some of the swirlies down-pat, especially on the swarovski pendants since they use a much higher (thicker) gauge of wire. Most of the wire details and swirls are done completely by hand. :)

And I do have pictures of the swarovski pendants being worn. I can take additional picture of the bugs if you'd like (the gemstone pendants are aroudn the same size as the swarovski ones). There are three sizes to the swarovski stones, and the pictures below will be from the smallest size (14mm) to largest size (18mm) Hope this helps!

If anyone has been on the fence about ordering one of these, I say go for it. I ordered one of the crystal necklaces last week and it arrived to day and it's so so pretty. Most definitely worth the money and the quality is outstanding.
