Grey Gnorbu and Lutari (added Darigan Chomby)

Post by Skitty »

While I was looking at the beauty that is the Grey Gelert, I decided to compare it to a few other Grey pets--wow, they've gotten bad. I'm still hoping for some good Gnorbu and Lutari redraws soon, so I got creative and took a shot at making my own Grey Gnorbu and Lutari:

I really like how the Eyrie turned out. It has lots of fluffy bits that "Grey" nicely. It's a little dark, and I may lighten it up later. For now I need to go to bed because it's very late here....

EDIT: Lightened him up a bit since he was so dark. Better now.

Hmm... The Chomby looked a lot better up close. I was trying to turn it into some sort of evil-stegosaur-thing with the spikes, but it looks a bit odd so small. Hopefully still okay though.

I plan on making more redraws, mostly Grey probably because I'm on a Grey kick right now, but if anyone wants to see a different color I'm willing to give it a shot. Baby would probably be the hardest since I'm mostly tracing the poses, but I'm up for a challenge. :P

Requests are closed until I get the ones I have waiting finished...

Oh, yes, and I'll also do redrawn versions of "failure" colors (like our little Grarkenstompfles Korbat, heh).

To-do List:

Faerie Gelert
Maraquan Poogle
Grey Lenny

Heh, thanks. ^_^ I enjoy making these a lot, it isn't too hard if you have a good program and know what you're doing. I think I prefer the Gnorbu too, I sort of modeled it after the Grey Ixi which so many people here love. I wasn't really sure what I was doing with the Lutari, since they're standard pose is difficult to reposition the way I'm doing and they don't agree with me for some reason anyway...

Very Nice ^^ I especially love the lutari, it looks particularly down trodden, LOL Perfect for a grey pet.

Aww, I love the Gnorbu! They're both awesome, you did such a great job. =D

I would love to see a Grey Bori or a Grey Hissi. =)

Those are cool! I especially like the colors on the Gnorbu. He looks so very emo! (Which, in certain contexts, are cute.)

And a grey hissi would be interesting...or a grey eyrie.

While I'm not particularly a fan of either pet(not saying they are bad pets, just not my thing), I Do like your gret Gnorbu.. he's soo pitiful.

I always wondered what a Darigan Chomby would look like? And a revamped Faerie Gelert.. those poor things need some help >.<

Okay, I'll add those to my to-do list. I was thinking I would do a Grey Hissi or Lenny soon anyway... those have the possibility to be really cool Greys. And I think I'll have to close requests for now, since these take a bit of time to do properly and I've gotten so many already.

I love the Gnorbu and the Lutari. The Gnorbu looks so cute and droopy, and is better than some of the Greys TNT has been giving us nowadays.

I'd personally love to see a Grey Buzz.

Wow Skitty, those are great. You are really very talented.

You don't think you could make Royal Xweetoks could you? I want to know what they would look like, from your interpretation.
