Kyrii Problem.

Hi folks, first post! Glad to meet you all.

I've only got one pet, and i've been trying to decide what to do with him. And unfortunately i've got a problem that's bugging me into being indecisive.

Kyrii are my favorite species. i'm not sure why, they just are. I love em, and their poses. Now, I also love mutants and Dr. Sloth and all that good stuff. So you'd think a mutant kyrii would be perfect.

Unfortunately, i'm not the biggest fan of that one. The design isn't terrible, but the poses are crummier than the standard Kyrii ones, in my opinion. I might have been able to will myself to buy the transmogrification potion anyway, if it wasn't for the fact that...

The Darigan Kyrii is amazing. It's what I wish the mutant Kyrii would have been. it's leaner, meaner, and it has way better and more Kyrii-ish poses. I love that ranged attack pose... But i'm not a Darigan fan at all. I don't care for the citadel or the yuyuball team or any of that. And there's a Darigan Kyrii morphing potion that is cheap enough for me to actually consider it? Argh.

Personality is a big deal to me. I like coming up with a concept and story for my neopet that I really like. I like the concept for the mutant Kyrii, but I like the Darigan design way better. I'm completely torn.

Since i'm so confused on this, my indecision has got me considering tons of other mutants and pet colors. I could list those too. I just really need to figure out what I should do with my pet.

You are aware that the poses you're talking about, you will (presumably) never ever see on the site, right? The Darigan and mutant kyriis now look like this:

Whilst emotions are promised, and we have seen the first signs that they're coming, they'll not match the old poses we have archived on this site.

This is the first time I've really taken a close look at the new Kyrii. I'm really not liking the new Kyrii mutant-spinach-induced-Popeye arms.

I used to really like Kyriis but for some reason haven't owned one for a few years now - I'd pretty much glossed over the Customisation changes (apart from Grey, which I loved but is now just grey). But, wow, decimation.

The Maraquan Kyrii is still pretty, if you don't mind a change of character - possibly Halloween could be an option too?
