Wonderful new Desert Petpets!
Wonderful new Desert Petpets!
Order from L-R:- Ona, Psimouse, Droolik, Sklyde;
I put them in order(L-R) in how I like them, I really do love Ona, they're just wondeful petpets, look good in almost any colour and are just adorable, I like this one a lot the eyes against the stars colour is a lovely touch. I like the Psimouse, because I just like the fan thingy it has, it's wonderful and I like how they creatively changed it from the umbrella, the eye make-up is a nice touch. Droolik, I love this species, but not as much as I used to after finding out that it is sticking its tongue out and that the tongue isn't a gem on the collar, and that it is more of a dog/bat than a cat/bat, unless it is infact a love heart on the collar and not the Drooliks tongue because
the Ghost Droolik is the only droolik with a different colour collar/tongue thing, which is why it is my faveourite droolik I suppose, that aside I like the colours. The Sklyde, gorgeous species, love the concept though desert is just a common one in a hat that looks pasted on. D:

Drooliks are dog creatures, with the tongues sticking out, hence the 'drool' in their name. I thought the tongue was just made black for the Ghost one, but it looks kind of square... I wonder if that's an artist error, or the tongue really isn't out in that one?

The ghost Droolik's line art is in general ever so slightly different from the standard Droolik's art (and by extension the Egyptian's as well), like it was relined. That's definitely a tongue, but it is shorter and wider than in the standard Droolik's tongue. There are other little deviations in the feet and tail and eyes and elsewhere.

I love the Psimouse and the Skylde! I was worried that the desert petpets would be overcrowded and busy, but these are great. They retain the essence of the original petpet, while also being Desertish.
If you're ever in doubt, throw a pepper in the air. If it fails to come down, you have gone mad, so don't trust in anything.
