Wow Goldenchaos, you've brought a whole new light on a species I would normally detest. It's absolutely fantastic! It looks like a Nightmare pet should look, the pose is haunting and creepy, and quite simply, if this pet were to be released, I'd get one. I love the wispy ears, and the tongue obviously Great work as usual, probably my favorite pet you've done so far!

The ruffie is great! Personally, I like the second, lighter coloured one, but the first one probably fits more with the other Subeta nightmare pets which are all quite dark. The detail is amazing, I especially love the demon slobber and the vicious claws!

These are HUGE, so bare with me. And its for a reason. I want you dudes, to redline them. ..I am having trouble with wing placement for the Nightmare one, and the hood on the revamped Graveyard, is a bid, odd.

I had to shrink the nose a bit, it was too long, since the normal Serpenths have it a bit stubby. Its thinner, so it gives off that whispyness, the hair will be shadow tendrils, similiar to the Kumos. Um, the wings, you can sort of see what I was trying to do with them..but no matter what I tried, they looked squished in. This one is done in Flash. But Im gonna redo it in opencanvas.


Kept the longer snout, since the original did. Hopefully ist not too confusing, and you can tell what Im going for. The end of the tail will be bone, and part of the spine, will too, the pink bits are flesh. Its ..like..shedding its skin. I don't like that empty space in the corner.

Wow, they look really good! Though the Nightmare (that is the first one, right?) looks awfully slim, maybe because the wings aren't full there, but the body looks rather slim in comparison to others. :/ I can't wait to see them fully-finished.

Daaaaamn. That's one cool looking Graveyard Archan... I'm digging it. For some reason, the feather-head-thingy on the left looks like a snake to me.

The only things I can comment on/suggest are: is it going to have an eye in the empty socket at all? Is there another ear on the right (its left) at all? And the stringy tendons showing on the right leg (its left) looks a little bit busy with all the mane hair near it. I'm not great on anatomy, so those are the only things I can really comment on. I can't wait to see the colored version!

I enjoy your work a lot, Goldenchaos, and tend not to be very critical of it, but I'm aware this is not very useful to you, so I made a point of looking at this one with a critical eye. It's not working. I really can't see anything wrong here. Chandi is right about the tendons in the left leg being kind of busy with the mane near them, but I suspect that will cease to be a problem when you color it; she's also right about one of the headacles looking like a snake, but that's another thing I think color will fix. What you did with the wing at the end of the tail is fantastic and cracks me up.

Originaly slated to be a redraw of the Graveyard Fester..it looks more and more like itd make a good nightmare, what do you guys think?

Those talons! Omg those talons! Those are amazing, seriously.

Tearing myself away from the talons, the rest of the bird is stunning as well.The neck fluff is nicely done as are the wings. I think the tail could stand to be a bit longer, but it doesn't look bad as it is.
It doesn't have a mohawk, which I'm glad about but fans of the species might be upset with. Is the nightmare mist-stuff going to form the mohawk or did you just choose not to include it?

Neglected species would be so much less neglected if you had been chosen for staff. *Sighs*

Thanks. Ill make the tail longer, sure. Oh, I didnt include it, not in this one. But, thats a good idea..:3 Since then it wouldnt have the mohawk.. I might make the wings a tad bit longer.

This definitely looks more Nightmare than Graveyard to me. It also looks awesome. I always love a Fester with scary knobbly feet, and the neck fluff and face are fantastic. The tail seems kind of flat and tacked on at this stage, but I think that is a function of it being line art; I'm sure it's fixable with color.
