I adore the Celinox! I love the bright blue and the the gold together, its a lovely combo. It seems a bit small though and looks to have a more canine body. Overall though I really do like it.
The Mahar I want to like, as I love the standard Mahar. But this one is just full of broken limbs and a funky body shape. The colors on the wings are stunning and I really like the face, but the limbs and body are just weird
I don't like either. Then again, I don't go for angelic pets, anyways.
I totally agree with Seerow about the Mahar. I'm disappointed since it's been quite awhile since we got a Mahar color and this is just blah. The colors are nice, but that's all I like.
The Celinox... it's front right leg bothers me. It looks like it bent more that it actually is (if that makes any sense). ::
As I said, I don't go for angelic pets to begin with, so my opinion doesn't matter much
My main issue with them is that the wings/feathers don't look like they're spread out enough for the thing to actually be flying... in contrast to, say, the lain (angelic or spectrum):
I also don't like the mahar's pose, which I think makes it look fat and like it has no neck.
The colors are very nice, though, especially on the mahar; I'm a fan of pink and yellow. I also really like how its earring is the halo! I also like the celinox's wispy leg fur and ruff, blowing in the breeze.
The Celinox looks really... stiff. And it's wings look awkward. The left wing's bending in a really weird way. But it's alright. Nothing I'd every pay to own, though.
The Mahar is a mess. The pose is weird. I also really dislike the way the wings are attached to the shoulder blades. They're in the right spot, but the shading makes them look kind of... I don't know... grotesque? I don't like the gold used for the horns, either. And I think the earring would have benefitted from black lineart instead of colored.
I do like the colors used on the wings, though. And the shading on the belly scales is lovely. ^^
The Celinox is very nice, I love the shades of light blue, the feathery things on its ankles, and the wings <3 The back legs look kind of short and fat, though.
The Mahar is . . . a train wreak. My very first thought was "It has bubbles on it's belly?" The strangely human arms and hands are freaky. The pink-and-yellow wings are lovely. Angelic needs more pink-and-yellow.
My computer is connected to the internet and the internet contains everything in the whole wide world ever. I don't know about you but I sometimes find everything in the whole wide world ever a bit distracting.
I don't really like either of them. The wings look strange, and on the Mahar it looks like they're too far back. On both of them it looks like the wings are too small, especially the Celinox. I do like the halo earring though.
The colors are absolutely GORGEOUS but i'm very disappointed by the poses, especially on the Mahar.
I know Mahars don't have very long necks at all but the way the shoulders look on this one near the neck
just bothers me to no end. I do like the face but the body just doesn't cut it for me and as much as I like
the shape of the wings, they look too awkward where they connect to the shoulders. :<
Oh well I still might end up getting one since I love the species but it could have been
such a great new addition if another pose was used
Other then the pose on the celinox, the only other thing that really bothers me is the eyes,
they just look...off, I can't put my finger on why but they just do.

Notice how the muscle line on the shoulder continues onto the feathered wings with no change in shading, color or texture. And there's that line of heavy shading in body color where the wing joint should be.
It's not unheard of for something like that to happen when an artist is overworked and tired.
Other then that, I like the mahar. The pose is a little weird, but if I was dying for an Angelic Mahar I wouldn't mind it (once the wing issue is fixed).
The Celinox is a little unexciting, nothing new pose or conceptwise, but it's a good, solid piece of art IMO. People desiring an Angelic Celinox will probably be happy with it.

Love the colors, and the facial expression of the Mahar, other than that... I think they're kind of lackluster.
The cheek fluff on the Celinox seems disconnected and strange, the face looks squashed and the eyes aren't really "readable". And it looks like it's hanging in midair - more like a Christmas ornament than a supposedly living, moving thing.
The Mahar... Am I the only one who thought the scales on the stomach look a little like corn-on-the-cob? It might be just me. I really like the face and the expression, but from the neck down... eeeeh. Arms/Shoulders are too far forward, and the wings look more like they're in the middle of it's back than connected to the shoulder blades. Also... what happened to it's back spines?
Alright, with green I showed where the shading on what should be the wing matches up with color and texture to the shading used on the Mahar's skin. And the green arrow points to an odd line of shading, which seems like they were shading the Mahar's back or something, it doesn't really look like it fits with the rest of the wing's color and texture. The red is showing the muscle line that starts on its leg, continues up its shoulder and onto the wing, even though it looks like it should be something that would be on its flank.
Basically, that area is oddly dark, and the shading and texture looks like it should shading for the body behind the wing, not the wing itself. I don't know if I'm making any sense, I'm kind of tired and this is hard to explain.
There's the large version of the Mahar, taken from the lovely Teera's DA. I actually rather like it big, the chest doesn't look as large and the limbs aren't as broken. I still think a different pose would have benefited the pet more.
But holyshit! look at those colors and shading!
