Pet Lookup Banner Image Issue

Post by aroura_greenleaf »

I am currently trying to create a pet lookup banner which will contain my goal pet, etc.

Examples of what I am trying to do can be found on my pet's lookups, located on my Neopets account of the same username as here.

The problem is... I forgot where I got the correctly sized images of my pets! My first guess? Neocolours.

The other problem is... none of the new neopets images show up on my computer...

Is this just my computer or maybe my browser?

At the moment, our image database is down. Recently there was a glitch on Neopets that re-scrambled the URLs for all the pets and we've been waiting to see if they would resolve the issue as it'll be fairly difficult to re-find all the images.

If it's *all* Neopet images that are missing, you might've put them accidentally on a block list, either Firefox or Adblock. Right click on where an image should be and see if any of the options help. Otherwise, perhaps you are having problems with Flash?

Hopefully one of those will at least explain the issue. :)

If you want to find the images, you can look at the Rainbow Pool. If you view a URL, change the end number in order to get a different size (the first number will change expression).

http://pets.neopets.com/cp/293dggc9/1/2.png < Normal size
http://pets.neopets.com/cp/293dggc9/1/4.png < Large

1 is the small avatar-like image that appears on the Neoboards. 3 is a portion view that is a little bit smaller than 2.

If your Neopets are already as you want them, go to your userlookup and right click on the image to get the url. To change size, again just change the number. Or you can go to
http://pets.neopets.com/cpn/Ecl/1/3.png < And just change the name to the name of the pet you want.

Let me know if that helps or not. :)
