While it's still not a pet I'll ever own, it did get a rather nice revamp. Mainly just updated art as everything else was left the same. I'm happy that it's still a floating pair of eyes and arms and didn't magically gain legs or a face The new cloak is nicely done as is the scythe. It doesn't look quite like he's holding it though, mainly due to the position of his left hand. But still, nice revamp overall and should have made the Harvester lovers happy!
I am SO glad that the Dawn Harvester got revamped into shades of pink and lavender, instead of the vaguely poo-colored shade of the old one.
Also, I'd been tempted to make a Sun Harvester named Orco for a while (yay 80s cartoons!), and the revamped art finally gave me the motivation to do it. Needless to say, I love the revamp.
Edit: OMFG YES, I MISSPELLED ORKO THE FIRST TIME AND HAD TO MAKE A NEW PET. I FAIL.
It's the same, but better. That's good! But the sleeves--especially the one on our right--are soooooo stiff. The folds mostly just look like really thick lines, and the oval of that one sleeve looks like it was starched that way. There's also so much attention and detail on that sleeve, and it looks really odd against the body.
But then again, Orko! That's so awesome, shadowgem. =D
I absolutely love this Revamped harvesters make me so happy. They were always a pet I've admired and loved from afar, but never owned one because both the basic pet art and every single redraw color (heck, even the scribble needs to updated now that they've change the scythe!) needed new art. Poor, neglected harvesters .
I definitely might get one if I like the new redraws.
This is a wonderful update (I especially like the arid). I probably still won't ever get one, but now at least I can admire them from a distance. They just look really good now.
I like this. I hope this means the Bloodred Harvester is getting a revamp very soon, because that one might make up my 10th pet slot. I've been holding onto a Bloodred Potion for at least a year now, waiting for something to come out that I like! :P
I love this! It doesn't take away from the pet, just updates the art. And the art is so gorgeous. My only nit pick is the sleeve looking a bit stiff. Other then that I think it's great! I can't wait to see the redraws for it. I'm really excited to see what they will do with nightmare.
