Subeta: Reborn Endeavor and Hydrus Celinox

I've been staring at the Endeavor since it came out last night, because I've had this color in mind for Leftwing all along - but I wasn't sure if it fits his personality -- and I'm still unsure, but it doesn't mean I think the pet is any less brilliant.

It's utterly lovely, Aqua, and while the pose seemed a bit ... odd, to me, at first, I think I like it now. It seems like the pet is hovering in mid-air, accessing the person he's looking at as a potential threat, while casually tossing a fireball back from one hand to the other, measuring his aim. =D

If I knew what the other redraws were going to look like it'd be easier for me to decide, dammits.

I like things about the Celinox, but overall it's far too clunky and heavy-set for me to be terribly fond of it. I'm with Akjara in that I prefer sleekness in my kitties. ^^

But that aside, it's wonderful to see redraws for that species; they are so pretty and they need more love.

The Endeavor is beautiful, and the jets of flame along the tail are a clever detail.

The Celinox ... I freaking <i>love</i>. I was expecting, well, a horror along the lines of the Hydrus Chai, and instead I got what very well may be the color I paint Mirna when the time comes to paint her (it is not yet that time). I've always been enamored of the stockiness of the Celinox -- sleek cats have started to bore me -- and the physical power and ferocity of this redraw are fantastic.

Yeah, it basically looks like a lynx with crystals on it.
