WIN.

I still hate the revamped Dragon, but now I don't care. I love the arched body and the slight creepiness of the way the skin puckers around the gems -- and this is far and away the best gold pet on the site. I ... seem to like every single colorfill, which is rare for me.

I was starting to get bored of Indrys being a Nuclear Tigrean. I know what I am turning her into once elixirs come out :D

This is just awsome beyond words. The face is adorable, as are the forepaws and claws. I agree with Goldenchaos about the tail being rather squished looking, but its not as noticable on the Nuclear version so I can live with it.
Wanna donate towards my drink gallery, the Golden Goblet.

Now is time to buy my Mystical Plushie so than you can get your pretty Sage ;)

*run away*

I like it. It's a good concept. The tail bugs me a little, but nothing really bad ;)

My Angelic Dragon is going to stay as-is until it's redrawn in the new style (hopefully that'll be quite some time), then we'll see if I still like it. Probably not, but you never know. If I don't, he is SO going to be one of these sorts.

I know I just created/colored Rukbat last month, but a dragony-type would be PERFECT for him.

As for critiques of this - I love it to pieces. A few gripes are the tail does look smushed into the frame, I wish the rear paws were a bit more visible, and the belly-scales/jewels look a tad busy. Otherwise? I love the earring, I love the eyes, I love the whiskers, I love that the tail is forked, and I love the front paws.

The Nuclear looks great!

This is . . . awesome. I can feel all my anger and disappointment over the Dragon revamp simply melting away :D Jill, I will now worship at your feet <3

Hmm, I must be the only one who dislikes this pet and is actually creeped out by it.

The jewels in the body just give me the damn willies. Reminds me too much of the lotus seed junk they post on the Chans. *shudder*

Maybe I'd like it better if it didn't have the embedded jewels but.... *shudder* *runs away*

I think the Gold one is the first Gold pet I've ever actually liked. :) Loving the rainbow gems/scales there. To be honest though, I think I actually like Common the most... o.O It's the nice earthy tones, I think.

Nah, I don't like it either, but it's making people happy.

...Though I hope we're not going to have ANOTHER dragon species.

The art is nice, but something about it creeps me out too o_o; I still miss the original dragon, but this seems to be pleasing the masses. Nice job, staff

It's in the database now. The gold one appears broken because the image is misnamed ('golden' instead of 'gold'); per our instructions I entered it with the 'correct' filename, since it will presumably be fixed (Subeta most likely assembles pet image file names from their component parts when it needs a pet image, rather than storing a list of file names).

I'd like this pet a lot more if the muzzle were sleeker like a Paralix- right now the face looks like a cow or bull to me.

I have some more to say but I gotta jet, like, now. x_x I haven't read anything about this pet's background yet so my first, and current, impression is "why?" This should've been the Dragon revamp. We didn't need a new, separate dragon pet to blend in with all the other samey-looking dragon pets.

You know, I just thought up a good story for my future Sage for the embedded jewels.

Sort of cliche but ... hasn't anyone read any DragonLance books? Dragons like to hoard treasure and sometimes the older they get, the more and more of their treasures get buried under and between their scales as they lay around in their piles of shiny.

I suppose that, in the staff's defense, that people would be protesting like crazy over what would seem like such a drastic change...

Because in general, people are happy with the Dragon revamp, and its adoption rate has gone up quite a bit since the release of the revamp.

Instead of changing it again - we decided to just release a new species, and make it easy for everyone.

I.. erm.

I think it's all right. It's definitely better than the god-awful Dragon revamp, but I'm not thrilled to death by it. The gems are very, very well done and very pretty, and I love the pose, but it has to do with the whiskers - the way they're shaded gives the Sage a very... strange mouth to me. Well, muzzle.

Overall, I think it's nice, and I'm glad so many people like it, but it's not for me. Oh well.

Gold and nuclear are awesome.

I love this pet--I like it as much as the Legeica. (And I really liked that.) Color choice is probably the main reason. Gold and nuclear are actually done really, really well, and I usually don't care for those (especially gold). Twilight is probably my favorite so far.

I'm not too sure about its position--kind of lying down, but with its haunches raised a little to allow its belly to curve? But it looks attractive, and apparently that matters to me over comfort. ^_~
