I was browsing the Neopian calendar and got the question stuck in my head:
What exactly does Borovan taste like? (ahem, the drink of course!)
I'm thinking it's kind-of spicy, kind-of sweet, almost between cinnamon and milk chocolate but not quite either one nor as strong...something like chai with a touch of milk and honey.
I guess one of the allures of Neopets is the vast creative variety of items and odd references there.
What do YOU think Borovan (the drink!) tastes like?
Are there any other vaguely-described foods and items that you have an opinion on what they would be like?
Is there a reference to something vague on Neopets that you're fascinated with and might have speculations for?
What/who is a "gnfard"? (See the description for Spiced Apple Pie.)

Re: What do you think ______ is like?
I'd always assumed Borovan to be a savoury kind of drink... I think primarily because of the similarity of the name to Bovril, and it's dark brown. I guess we will never know for sure.

I always assumed it was just like hot chocolate. May be dull, but I like my simple hot chocolate.

I would just like to say that I still want a real tchea fruit. It sounds so bizarre. But good. (Also, I still wear my tchea fruit scarf! I get cold easily.)

Blumaroo Steak.... would it taste like chicken?
Re: What do you think ______ is like?
When I see Borovan I'm reminded of the beef broth. So I always saw it as a beefy, salty type of drink. Maybe closer to gravy but not as thick.
derp
