Nostalgic Fester and Mortiking
I instantly thought of godzilla and reptar then second I saw the Mortiking lol.
But the Fester is my fav of the two, that is such a clever idea making it a lawn flamingo.
I wish I had a reason to own it because I would color my pet in a heart beat, the colors are so pretty ;o;

Re: Nostalgic Fester and Mortiking
Hehe I thought of Reptar when I first saw the Mortiking too I wish the legs looks more joined, but other then that I think it's great. I especially love the little battery slot on his tail and the speakers on his chest!
The Fester is also nicely done! Hagane did a great job making the feathers looks like plastic.
Edit:
I just noticed that the Mortiking also has a SB logo on his flank, just like the Jurassic Park figures did I'm loving this more and more.

I love the fester so much. Wish I had a reason to have one, but I can at least acquire the toy item and love it and pet it and call it George.
Who is the mortiking artist now? I think the speakers are the best touch, but also, the little detail of the texture on its underbelly--very nicely done.

I really like the fester too. But aside from the legs, there's nothing about it that looks like a toy. It just looks l like a pink bird with peg legs. Still, I want one.

Not all of the Nostalgic pets are toys. The Priggle is a pin cushion, and the Fester is *supposed* to be a lawn flamingo.Huggles wrote:But aside from the legs, there's nothing about it that looks like a toy. It just looks l like a pink bird with peg legs.
Just a heads-up.

I'm pretty sure she meant that it's more like an alive thing than an inanimate object.

Whoops. Sorry.AngharadTy wrote:I'm pretty sure she meant that it's more like an alive thing than an inanimate object.

Yep, that's what I meant. I think the pose, the downward crest, and the long legs make it look more like an updated Lenny. Maybe that's why I like it so much?

I agree with Huggles. It looks like the poor bird got its legs amputated and replaced. That said, it's still amazingly creative and adorable. It just stands out a bit from the rest of them since it actually looks like it's alive.
Re: Nostalgic Fester and Mortiking
I also think it is the fact that it is looking at you. A lawn flamingo would stare straight ahead.
