Neocolours

I got to the end of the news and thought 'oh, no new colours for Kau day this year?'. I'd totally missed the Elderlyboy/girl, on the small images the changes are not at all obvious with a quick glance.

The larger view shows up more of the details, though beyond the saggy eyelids and the slightly wrinkled nose (which on the male is starting the process of zombification judging by the colour) it certainly isn't a huge change. But it is effective. The elderlygirl's permed pom-pom on the end of her tail is hilarious, while the boy seems to be going for the 'Colonel Sanders' look.

John Hammond! ...or maybe Colonel Sanders, I guess. I definitely went Jurassic Park with it.

I don't like the elderlygirl at all. The colors don't look good together and it looks kinda messed up. also, what's up with that magnifying glass on the floor o_O

The female.. man that thing NEEDS clothing. That's just.. scary. The hair color doesn't match the body at all. Needs to be grey or something.

But--I agree that the female's hair just doesn't work. Sure, some ladies dye their hair, in real life, but it looks too perfectly bright for that.

That hair! Looks like she's had a pat on the head, so to speak.

Usually, old, wrinkly cows are not very appealing to see, so that's one realistic representation of an elderly cow.

I wish the Elderlygirl didn't have that weird brown hair x_x
Can't she have like white hair instead?

There's better consistency between the two, which is good. I think this is the artist who has done some of my favorite backgrounds.
