Exactly. I mean, not that I saw that episode, but that's what bothers me.

I do not disagree with anyone who believes that jubjubs will sneak into your room, hide under your bed, excrete a toxin from their eyes that will numb your legs, and devour the flesh from your feet while you sleep unaware of what you'll find left of your lower torso when you awake. That's why they're cuddly.

Aw, they're so cute now! I'm quite pleased, even though I never really wanted a Jubjub anyway. They kind of remind me of those silly fluffy-haired Troll toys for some reason. But much cuter!

Well, I think it's an improvement. It was never suppose to be a tough Neopet in the first place so that's not a problem. It does look like a plushie that would sit harmlessly on a table during the day but when you fall asleep, it could kill you without hesitation

Makes me wonder if they'll do anything to Garlic or Coconut but I doubt it. Don't know about Clay though

I wish it had the more compact feet of, say, the royal Jubjubs -- these are a bit too big and flat for my taste. Still, the art's lovely, very cute and lively and not <i>excessively</i> creepy for a tribble with feet and huge, glistening eyes. Or possibly an ambulatory Peep. I'm still making up my mind about that. (It's creepy all right, but it could have been a lot worse. The royals make me want to run away from the computer they are so disturbing.) I miss the old pose just a little (the coconut and garlic Jubjubs show us that it <i>can</i> look good), but given that most of the major redraws are standing like this instead of sitting, it was clear to me that they were heading this way.

It's okay. I don't like the eyes particulary in the happy pose, because they're too circular, in a human baby kind of way. Let's see if they kill any of the redraws.

Seriously, these are just.... EEEE. They look so soft and fluffy and pettable now. :3 And their expressions are just so much more playful and childlike now. I think TNT's just created the cutest non-redraw Neopet in the world

A shame, my labbie was a Jubjub until about a couple days ago... if I'd have known this was coming, I might have left him like that at least for a little while longer.

And for anyone who thinks the eyes on the new version are "too creepy", I present to you:

Well, as a Jubjub owner (baby) I really like this. The Jubjub art was old and outdated, and I think this has definitely breathed new life into this species. I don't think the art is too creepy or too cutesy, and seems to be in line with the direction Neopets is moving towards-- while I hated it in the Xweetok, I like it in this Jubjub. And it's starting to grow on me overall.

So, thumbs up from me and Stewius!

Hm, I'm in two minds about it. On one hand the art is so much better there's just no comparision, on the other I think the mouth is way to big. Before it was to small, but no it's giantic! Especially in the sad pose.
Aside from that it's really good. Way to go, TNT!
