The first good Elephante in years! Although I was sort of hoping for a revamp...

I like these, they're very creative, and surprisingly so! I like the theme they chose. Although the turban on the Royalboy is a little odd XD It... has holes for the ears? o_O

I'm glad they didn't churn out some sort of odd four-legged Royal poo-thing for these. Yay for Elephantes! (?!)

These are okay, which is saying a whole lot more when it comes from me and the pets in question are royals.

Pros:
-The used two colors that aren't already present on the site. For whatever inane reason, TNT has a huge problem with this in the past.
-They don't have hair. Thank-you very very much.
-We finally get another theme that isn't medieval. Yay!

Cons:
-They're anthro. While not the worst by far, I still don't find it the least bit necessary or appealing.
-As nice as the outfits are, I don't care for the shading, or lack thereof. Everything is very flat.

Overall, not as bad as they could have been, but not as good either. I'd rather have seen them decorated as some indian elephants really are. Just googling decorated elephants brings up tons of pretty flowerydesignsthat could have been used for the female. Not to mention that the male could have been given tusks and dressedfor battle. *sigh*

Okay, well I have another reason to go onto Neopets more often. >> This is a BAD thing. On the other hand, i think I'm going to be keeping Kynaphai instead of zapping like I intended. (However, I will need to change gender. I <3 the royalgirl, she's so pretty!)

I dread the sight of any elephante that isn't a redraw, so thank goodness this isn't a repeat of some other elephante disasters...namely the outdated faerie..

The Royalgirl is truly something lovely which catches my eye. Yes, she is very simple but that stays true to the culture which she portrays. The colors are so peaceful and calming and that's what really makes her desirable. I think i found the next neopet for my main. ^_^

The Royalboy also offers just as much as the royalgirl does...although im partial to most royalboys...but one thing the royalboy delivers which the royalgirl only touches upon is better battledome poses...which i find more exciting and energetic.

I like them! I hardly ever like Royal pets, but I really like these. I can't explain why (other than the Indian theme), but I do.

So. I want to like these, I really really do - and I do like things about each. The colors are nice and as Huggles has mentioned, they're both new colors for the site, and that's always nice to see.

I don't like that they're yet more anthro royals, but since TNT hasn't done a great job with non-anthro royals either (the awful Kaus, as for example) I suppose it could've been worse.

I think what bothers me most about these two is that they both look so very small, petite, even. I wanted new elephante colors that followed in this body style:

instead we get this body style:

Ah well, it could've been worse, and I'm grateful that it wasn't. I don't want one, but I won't mind seeing them around the site either.

The first cloud elephante you posted is probably my favorite. But, I also really like the one for their species page, even though its head shape is quite different.

Yes! I love that one too, and I haven't the foggiest why they haven't continued to draw Elephantes in that style. All of those images came out around the same time, we all danced the dance of the happy . . . and they've pretty much not been seen since.

Figures. :P

The first thought I had when I saw this title was "if these aren't Indian, they automatically lose."

Very nice, although the female is much better than the male. And they could use some shading, maybe some transparent veils for the girl. But they're pretty good.

Couldn't agree more. I kinda wish I had waited until more ethnic versions of royal came out before I decided to get a royal pet. You can't just pull a near 2 mill brush out your ass when you feel like it.

Dear Gott in himmel! *spins around in panic circles*

I cannot afford this! Why?! TNT hates me T.T

Henna would have been loverly on the girl, but I still like her just the way she is.

Well, you could, but it wouldn't be very pleasant. :P

Wow! I can not believe that I like a royal colour!

They don't look like royalty to me, but they do look like nobility. The female looks so elegant and refined. She looks friendly and intelligent in the happy pose, but her angry pose shows that you don't want to get her mad. The male looks kind and honest. I just want to give him a huge hug in the beaten pose.

I also like that the anthro aspect has been minimized. You could almost imagine them as regular Elephantes with clothes.

I am going to have to do some serious rethinkining about my plans for my Elephante, who was supposed to be Island. She's named after royalty (although it's Egyptian royalty), so the theme fits.
