I think it's not too shabby at all, for a Hissi. I'm especially liking the red feathers which look like some kind of deranged Sonic-inspired hairstyle.

Wow, this is nice, and not a cookie-cutter Island pet. The red feathers add some much needed color, the jewelry is awesome, and the LEAF BANDAGES ARE WIN.

And therein lies the other problem. I've been saving up to paint the xweetock with a fire PB. I guess I'll just have to admire the island hissis from a distance.

I think this says it all right there. If you really like the Island color more than the Desert color, then by all means repaint your Hissi.

Unless there was a specific reason you painted your Hissi Desert, like for the sake of it's personality....

Oh god-damn. And I'd JUST settled on either Starry or Cloud for my new Shiva-themed hissi (once I scrounge up the NP to morph him, because I so obviously cannot wait until hissi day).

Now I have to convince myself that Island isn't at all Shiva-like and that I totally don't need this. Nope.

You know, I'm not a huge fan of hissis (Hissii?) in general, but to see an island pet break away from the lei/flower/hula skirt thing makes me instantly like it. Beautiful red feathers, and very original leaf bandages. I do agree with adi about the gold bands. On a snake it doesn't make much sense, plus, it seems like they try to stick those somewhere on every island pet whether it makes sense or not.
