Just logged in to Premium to find this.

Here's a screenshot of the tutorial and explanation box!

I'm playing with it now and it really is quite spiffing. This came right out of left field, eh?

Wow, rip Subeta off much, Neo?

*falls about laughing*

: | And I no longer have premium after it was cancelled for NO reason. I didnt bother to renew, especially after finding out I can block ads for free.

Show more screenshots!

Well, COULD they be ripping of Subeta? Didnt Gaiaonline have dress up avatars before Subeta and Neo?

Interesting. Did they draw each article of clothing to fit every Neopet's unique body type? Will every redraw colour be included? That's a lot of work.

And will it be for premium members only? Wouldn't be surprised, since I cancelled mine recently. There was nothing worth paying for except the Super Shop Wizard.

Hmmm sounds like an intresting concept. Something that has been asked or suggested for on neopets for awhile. People asking something to be able to be done with the clothes other then just sitting there and looking pretty.
I'm not sure what to think about it myself. It seems like a cool idea. But I can't really say for myself unless I see for myself. So I save judgement till I"m able to try myself. Seeing as I don't have premium that will probally be awhile. Or I'll just go by what other people say who've tried it or show off pictures of it. **shrugs** I wonder if this is what has been one of the things takeing up the artists' time. I mean really, that has to take a lot of drawing getting the clothes to fit on different pets, different poses and so on.

Well, they *have* had clothes on the site from the beginning, and you couldn't really do anything with them. I'm happy that the items may finally be useful :)

Actually? Who cares about that?

New plushies in the news - specifically this one:

*dies* Give Now. Must. Have. *stamps foot*

Eh, who am I kidding? It's probably r98 or something. *sigh*

So. Cute.

Bah. I don't give a damn about dressing up my Neopets and I don't have any clothing horded.

If this is what was keeping them from releasing better news, I forgive them. People have wanted this since before Subeta popped up. Also, its not a rip off since Subeta uses humans AND neopets used to have a clothing game WAY back when...

Eh. This is an interesting concept -- it does read like a direct ripoff of Subeta's avatar system, though I hasten to point out that there are other pet sites with features actually much more similar to this than Subeta's dolls are -- but it seems like a lot of work (for TNT) for not much payoff (for me), and to execute it in a way that's actually good would be even more work. This is not good. This is ... well, would someone else with a robot Ixi take a screenshot of what it looks like in the customization tool? I can't do it myself right now, but therein lies a good portion of my objection. Other awesome redraws suffer similarly (my poor faerie Buzz), but I find what they did with the robot Ixi not just bad but actively disturbing and gross.

Here's a picture of my Blumaroo and my Aisha with clothes on.

I think this is fairly adorable, actually, and I'm stupendously happy clothes aren't going to be useless items anymore.

definitely interesting. Just watch as clothing prices go skyhigh though.

....

I think I just died and went to Neo-heaven.

(with a LOT of gnashing of teeth along the way because I morphed/painted my white Aisha into a white Kougra because I got so sick of the bad Aisha art and now this?!)

This is really nice. It's a new way to individualize a pet. There are far more options this way than with paint brushes alone. I'd much rather wait for nice colours if I can get a whole new feature to play around with.

If this is what has caused all the recent Invisibles, I absolutely forgive them.

As for the subeta reference, I don't think that has much to do with it. There quite a few websites devoted to dressing up "paper" dolls online.
