I like the .com if only for the reason that when I can't remember the right domain for a url for most sites I try .com before .org or .net. And it looks prettier ^^

Do we know how much each of these would cost other than the .net one?

My guess is realistically they wouldn't charge anywhere near that amount of money simply because no one is going to buy it for that.

Sort of like those people who see there's no examples of (insert rare-but-not-one-of-a-kind item here) on the Trading Post and try to claim it's worth millions in hopes that the ignorant will go for it. In general they'll never sell it for that much and will eventually have to settle for less.

But yes, how much we're talking about is obviously an important issue.

They don't really want to sell, some of the time. They make more revenue from the ads sitting on their page than they do from people buying the URLs they use.

I don't really think we should buy from a reseller. We know how aggravating they are on neopets, and giving in to their demands only rewards them for their actions and makes them want to continue to swindle people. Plus $888 is ridiculous, considering it ought to be 74 times or so cheaper. We don't really need an uber neocolours.com/net/etc name to be who we are.

I voted .com for the same reasons as Trick.

(I would, incidentally, be happy to contribute a few quid via paypal if buying the domain ended up pricey - don't know if I've said that before).
