Grey and Speckled Blumaroos
Work those emo!eyes, grey, you've got to do something to justify the price of that brush. Because it's not like there's a pixel's worth of difference between grey and speckled elsewhere. . . .
Oi.

What about the wobble mouth thing it has going on? I'd spend 3 million on that!Kamil wrote:Work those emo!eyes, grey, you've got to do something to justify the price of that brush. Because it's not like there's a pixel's worth of difference between grey and speckled elsewhere. . . .

I agree with Goldenchaos, before I would have seriously considered getting a Grey Blumaroo if it had looked like that description.
The outline of the ear and nose tips on the Speckled are kind of green, they look like they are trying their best with what they have at least? x_x; Even if I think the green lines look odd.

Ooh, I completely forgot to mention in my post that I love the pale green tips to the ears and muzzle. Definitely a good choice rather than the pink. It really sets it off beautifully. I am quite absurdly delighted by this speckled blumaroo, but I always have loved colourfills and am pretty sure I'd have preferred this to the grey even pre-customisation. It's just so pretty!

Grey makes me want to cry. I can't say it would have made any sense to just stop releasing grey pets, especially considering that the existing ones have already been ruined, but... well, as others have said, there's no point in paying for the brush anymore.
Speckled is quite nice, though. It looks a lot like the flotsam - not quite as good, I think, but very pretty.

There really is no hope left for grey, is there?
Make the brush more common and make it an actual colourfill. There's no hope left for it.
Other ways to make it more worth the price would be to add some pathetic grey faerie wings, or a raincloud at the top as one of those extra accessories like the faerie dolls you get from the pay section of the site. At least it'd be more than a sad eye and a squiggly mouth.
Poor artists, having their creativity limited so. It must suck for them.

I generally find speckled pets cute, so I like the speckled one. As others have mentioned, the pale green ears and nose are a nice accent, because they break up the pattern and prevent monotony.
I might be the only person not bothered by the grey blumaroo, but that is only because I never paid much attention to grey pets.

If you're ever in doubt, throw a pepper in the air. If it fails to come down, you have gone mad, so don't trust in anything.

The speckled is a lovely shade and the spreckles aren't so obvious as the green isn't nearly as garish as it is on some other pets. It's a decent colour-fill at least.
Grey... it could've been fantastic if it weren't stuck in the same cookie-cutter pose as all the pets are now in. I love the idea of having a removable raincloud for grey pets actually, it would differentiate them from normal colour-fill pets besides the changes in the face. But for being in that pose it does look suitably depressed so I think the artist has done a wonderful job with the restrictions placed on them.

Speckled is accually quiet nice. I like a few of the speckled pets because I enjoy the light green and white together. It's just a nice calm colour fill. I like how the blumaroo turned out and I defently like the way they did the tip of the nose and ears.
Grey on the other hand is..well bad. Grey just isn't the grey I use to love. I feel sorry for the poor grey pets not because they are depressed but because they don't look depressed anymore. **sighs** I miss the creative greys. I also agree with those who say it would be nice for them to atleast have a grey rain cloud hanging around them or something extra that adds to the depressed mood. Though they sorta have a grey rain cloud already to wear, atleast I see it on the news page. Though it has lighting coming out of it. **shrugs**
