I can't decide if I like them or not, I know I like the boy better than the girl for sure. I wish the markings on the girl's head were darker, at first I thought there was some sort of glare reflecting on her forehead. And I don't like her painted toes.

Without shoes, the girl looks incomplete, especially compared to the boy. And the gem on her head looks like it was cut from another picture and just pasted onto her crown (it's that stupid, blocky aura that's doing it).

I think their coats/shirts are rather boring and wish they had a bit more detail, but I like the concept.

Hmm. Well, I think they're nicely drawn, and I like the idea. I not sure if I like them overall, though. I like the headpiece on the girl, but her outfit looks a little plain, and those painted toenails just look a bit goofy. The colours are nice, though. Might just be that I'm not really a grundo fan.

These violate the primary rule of a new color; the pet in question must in fact be a completely new color than what currently exists on the site. The only exclusions are for extreme anatomical changes. These are even worse now that clothes mean next to nothing with the customization system. What we have here are a pair blue and green grundos, a shade of green that's close to at least three grundo colors I can recall, with some goofy splotches on their foreheads. Woo freaking hoo. It never ceases to amaze me how the artists time and time again fail to understand this seemingly simple concept. On a lighter note, the tiara on the girl is kind of neat because of the suspended rock.

The markings would've been a neat idea if they didn't look like tire tracks. As it is, these grundos look like they've been run over with bicycles.

The clothes aren't doing anything for me, either. They could be worse, though.

Out of curiousity, which three? I personally thought this was different enough from any of the existing green colours grundos. One fairly good sign of that is that I adore this shade and think all other green colour grundos are not nice shades at all! This is much more of a sea green than we usually see on Neopets, I think it's a nice change. And much, much preferable to pastels which would be the easiest way to have a colour we've not already got.

I'm thinking of green, mutant, and x-mas. It is different, but I'm sick of green for grundos and it's still too close for comfort. Before customization, I was hoping one of these would be nice enough to paint Zarquona, and I would have very upset if these were released then. She's been brown and orange, because I hate the red or sometimes maroon eyes they always have. It's just, out of all the color combination and markings they could have chosen, this is the best they could do? Really?

Am I the only one here that likes them? I think they look pretty neat. Especially how they kind of look like some sought of sci-fi emperor like of star trek or something.

The boy one is loads better that the girl though. I agree that she needs shoes. If I was to get the girl I would probably repaint it so it's not that colour green.

I like that these are space-themed :O I'd hoped they wouldn't ignore that since the Shoyrus were already kinda space emperor-y.

That said, they're really not all that good :| Quite boring, and the markings on their foreheads could have been much better executed. I like the shade of teal on the girl though, and the headpiece on the boy is kind of neat.

The Royalboy has the Ming the Merciless-style collar - not sure I'm so impressed with the Royalgirl's toenails or gem though. Nice idea but, yeah, with the clotes off it's just a pretty standard-looking Grundo. I do prefer the shade of green used on the Royalgirl to the standard Grundo green.

I agree they could have chosen better hues for their skin, but I like the blue of the boy anyway, because it's a calming colour, which balances the red eyes a bit. I'm not too crazy about green for the girl, though.

The boy looks royal-ish, because he has a shiny outfit with more colours than silver. I actually think he looks quite smart. I'm not crazy about the girl. Other than the tiara, I don't think she looks queenly enough. There aren't enough colours on her. And she should definitely have shoes! Since clothes are so easy to add now, they should add shoes to her now.

On another note, there sure are a lot of royals being released right now. I wonder if it has something to do with them trying to make customisation more popular.
