For discussion of new pet colours- speculation and discussion of colours in general should be placed in New Features or Misc.

Mutant Yurble

Hmmm... I don't know what to say.
Nice idea, but poorly drawn because it looks way to busy. I still can't work out what's happened to his left arm. :( It looks like it's coming out of his head. This one also looks strangely plumper than most other Yurbles. Whether that was deliberate i do not know.

Er, he looks almost more Maraquan than Mutant...

I . . . like it. o_0

It does look almost maraquan, and I have to wonder where the tentacles came from, since to my knowledge Yurbles are forest creatures not sea dwellers, but, hey. It doesn't have fist o'DOOM syndrome and I like the colors.

In these times, that'll do. ^^

*adds Yurbles to the list of species to start zapping once I have all the Peophin colors I want*

I think it's adorable. XD Then again I think the Mutant Quiggle is one of the cutest things on the whole site too, so my idea of "adorable" is quite different from most... >> It looks so cotton candy-ey, and I love that sort of dopey "hug me plz" look it has going on there. :3

It looks properly Mutant, actually.

Yes, the tentacles gives a Maraquan vibe, but you can clearly see, by the rest of the pet, than it's actually mutant.

(First Reaction:) My word... What the hell is that?!?

(Second Reaction:) Hmm... I don't think I like it. It looks rather dopey, and I agree - the tentacles (and the colours used) make it look Maraquan.

(Third Reaction:) Does this fit in to the standard Yurble pose? If so then this is good work on the artist's part to make a pet that looks very different from the base but still fits the system. This is a glimmer of hope for things to come as the artists start to get used to working around the limitations of the customisation system, maybe?

Oh, jeeze, I want one. :( I want to buy a trans potion and turn the attrocity that is my Lutari into one. This is the first color since the complete revamp of the site that I've actually considered trying to obtain. I don't know if it's the uniqueness or the expression or the colors or the shading, or just a combination of the above, but I really like this pet.

I love the colors and that it's so shiny. It's odd that it's belly is so flatly shaded and the feet look quite normal. I wouldn't want one, but this might have been really neat before.

Hm. Neat. Which is saying a lot, these days.

I like that it is a "pretty" ugly pet. That makes it unique. I find the hunchback-squid theme a bit weird, because squids don't have backs, but, as a mutant, it doesn't have to make sense.
If you're ever in doubt, throw a pepper in the air. If it fails to come down, you have gone mad, so don't trust in anything.

I LOVE it! The mutant like tentacles, the Cyclops eye, the fur sticking out at odd angles, the hard, too big toe nails, the dopey expression, the jagged yellow teeth and of course THE COLOURS.

I want one! :D

Heh, I think I like it! The art and colours are nice, and it looks really different from the others, for a change. I'm sort of wondering how the standard clothing would fit on it, but if the artists have found a way, kudos to them. Not something I'd want my pet to look like, but a good addition to the site.

Mutants aren't able to use the clothing. Only the trinkets and such, I think. (Backdrops mainly)

At least, most of them can't.
