Thank you very much for all of the kind words. (I appreciate them more than you know, considering how I feel about this pic at this point x_x)
I think you're right, Marah. I shouldn't have made the clouds echo the tail's movement quite so dramatically (I have a thing for backgrounds moving in a circular motion with the subject ahh). That's easily fixable, though, if I ever decide to open this .psd again haha. Thank you!
And Jazzy, agreed on the cloud details. I had passed on the closer clouds three times with finer brushes (v.s. just once with the far ones), hoping that if I rendered them in enough detail the further ones would look more distanced by contrast. On second thought I ought to have just left the further ones impressionistic instead of being OCD with my 5 pix brush on those. I need to learn to relax omg @_@
