The Anyu seems a bit lackluster, but I'm loving the Paralix, especially the glowing lures on the whiskers. Is it possible to change hydrus pet's species with an elixir and then make it hydrus again, or are you limited to turning the entire pet hydrus only once?
I LOVE THE PARALIX. Want. There's nothing else to say about it. It's amazing. And I have a paralix, but he's glacier and I don't want to change him. He was a hydrus telenine before that, and I think the hydrus really works with his character, but glacier is so pretty. :< I may have to get another paralix...
The anyu really isn't doing anything for me. It's a bear with spikes. Just what bears need, you know. Spikes. XD
I honestly don't mind the less amount of detail on the Anyu but I think it could use a pair
of horns on it's head but that's just me XD Otherwise i LOVE THE POSE OMG, that face is
just...AMAZING seriously. I forgot who's the artist for the anyu's but I LOVE YOU, I like how
the little wings on it's ankles are all webby now too X3

Neither really do much for me, but the Anyu's not that bad. I think the artist executed the pose very well. I do agree with Heilos that horns on it's head would make it even better. Good job to both artists.
Lol, I did have a sketch for the anyu with horns on its head, but it made it a lot smaller in the canvas, and I wanted that open mouth to be the thing that drew attention to the face! Plus I've put horns on the head on some other hydrus pets I've drawn recently, and I wanted a bit of variety to be honest.

Eeee, the paralix is so so nice, I must agree (with those that love it). Such a dynamic pose and canvas filling and visually interesting, with good anatomy to boot! I think it's my favourite paralix...although I might still love glacier the most!
The Anyu is nice, I love the roaring pose of it. The mouth with the long lip is great! Whee bear mouths.
I want to like the Paralix, I really do. I love the coloring/shading and the pose overall is great. But something seems really off about the face and the hand. The face kind of reminds me of a ferret face or something.
The lantern thingies on the whiskers and the back fin thingy are so pretty though, overall you did a lovely job on it Keshi
Man, these both are so cool. The Anyu is big and burly and roaring! And lovely markings. I was hoping Bloodred would be roaring, but this is so fabulous
The Paralix's whiskers changed into glowing lures is genius. And I love how the backfin is flowy and transparent <3 The humanish hand is the only thing a bit off.
My computer is connected to the internet and the internet contains everything in the whole wide world ever. I don't know about you but I sometimes find everything in the whole wide world ever a bit distracting.
wtf nobody likes the Anyu but me. :c EDIT: this is a lie, but still. I am really fond of it and saddened to see that most people are just ''eh''. ;____;
I ADORE the Anyu. I am an old fan of this species and I love seeing them this ferocious and serious. I've had about enough of cutesy bears, and my God this is just BEAUTIFUL. There's something about the intensity and ferocity of the expression that really draws me in. I really want one.
As for the Paralix... I love it. I really, really love it.
But in my opinion it bears absolutely no resemblance to a Paralix. I don't know what it DOES look like, but not a Paralix. It's beautifully executed and has already become very popular, but I just can't get over how different it looks versus most Paralixes. :c
I love the Anyu, too! It's such a unique pose. I love the eye and the wide open jaws, and I like that it's not cluttered up with horns and all kinds of other stuff. I'm tempted to change mine to hydrus while I wait for the reborn update.
I love the paralix! This is the first hydrus that I love. It's just so cool! I love the horns, the pose, the webbed feet, the glowing ends on the whiskers, everything! I only wish that I had a character that this colour would fit, or even the attitude the colour holds would fit. But alas, I don't. **makes face** Guess this will be another pet I admire from afar.
I find the anyu quiet nice. I love the pose Rah went for, it fits it perfectly. And she captured a bears roar perfectly too and that alone gives the colour big points. The shading and markings are nice too.
