Re: New plot: War of the Obelisk
I got 610,131 and a Warmonger trophy. I'm pleased about the avatar and Site theme as I was hoping for both! I'll have a camp-out on the BD boards when I get home from the gym later to see if anybody has tested the weapons yet. I'm slightly annoyed that the prize shop contains a Shadow paint Brush - ...

Re: Stealthy and Biscuit Krawks
I do like the textures on the Stealty's clothing, they're very evocative - the head covering.. thing is very thin silky material, while the jacket really looks like quilted padding (the amount of reflection is perfect for polyester) with a thick piping around the edge. It has the extremely unstealt...

Re: Pokemon Generation VI predictions/desires
Eh, I'm not really bothered either way about this reveal. I've never been a fan of Mew or Mewtwo so I can't say this excites or upsets me! I'm just anxious to see the starter evolutions and more tidbits about gameplay and new features.

I found two pictures that are a good comparison showing the difference in my arms. I'm pleased with how things are going:

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
Oh my God Farseek, I'm so sorry to hear that. At least you have somewhere to stay and sleep, that's the main thing. Are you working? My dad apparently had a stroke yesterday morning. Thankfully it seems to have been a relatively minor one, and he's already improving quite a bit over yesterday. We're...

Re: New plot: War of the Obelisk
I'm pretty sceptical to the idea that there is much more to come, just because there is absolutely no momentum. Any anticipation has been turned into boredom. To make something feel more than tacked on would have required a decent, continuous narrative. Though I guess I was disappointed early on an...

Re: Stock Market
TPP has recently shot up to 78 - it's been hovering around this figure for the last couple of days. Personally I'm holding out for higher but I thought others might like to sell! EDIT: Nigel the Chia charges 20 NP as commission. Summary : You had 101900 NP. After 21 successful transactions, you hav...

Re: Books
http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/18505085 Just spent the morning not studying for finals and trying to remember the last 150 or so books I've read. I know I'm forgetting a ton that I'll find on my bookshelf when I visit home next week, but I think I've got a good list built up so far! I added you...
Re: Books
I've just finished reading Das Boot - a novel written by a German U-Boat officer serving during WWII. It's absolutely brilliant and I'd recommend it to anybody with an interest in this period of history. The way in which the author describes the claustrophobia and sheer horror of being trapped in a ...

Re: New plot: War of the Obelisk
So apparently the boss HP is decreasing by time, not damage done (which is probably why they just require us to get our 300 losses and move on). Someone charted it yesterday, and common consensus on the neoboards is that everybody already knew. Hmm that's interesting! I obviously haven't been hangi...

Re: New plot: War of the Obelisk
Losing 300 times is a very boring task... but I'm 30 losses away from filling my progress meter so I guess that's something. Man, I wasn't planning on getting back into Neopets until this event popped up. I couldn't stay away! I hope the ending to this doesn't disappoint... does anyone have any idea...

Re: New plot: War of the Obelisk
Well I tested the water by fighting on Easy and found that too... easy! So I've racked up a few wins on Medium and have discovered I can beat the Awakened twins on Hard without too much trouble. While this would certainly be my limit for Hard difficulty challengers I feel a bit sorry for the seasone...
