Re: Expect a Faerie Eyrie
My first thought, was that it was pretty enough, but after looking at it for a while, I'd say that it's not as good as the original unreleased faerie. I agree the expression on that one looked a little 'fluffy' but the muted blue/purple colour scheme and feathered wings work for the species. This ne...

Re: Clothing/Customizable Neopets
The ruff removing clothes aren't bad on all pets, but the problem with xweetoks is they have both a mane and a ruff. Here's how one looks with both the mane and ruff removed, and I don't mind it so much. But I don't like it with only the mane gone, or only the neck ruff gone. http://pets.neopets.com...

Re: Clothing/Customizable Neopets
The purses are alse not really working for pets without a paw held out for them- they look like they've been nailed on I'd rather think of it as taped or magiced on. Or maybe there are some pets that get special body piercings, just to carry their purses with. =) That way I don't feel guilty for gi...

Re: New Petpetpet and 4 New Ghost Petpets!
I haven't liked a lot of the Carmariller colours, but I love this one. It's cute, but looks mean enough for a ghost.
The Nymph petpetpet is adorable, and if the concept of petpetpets didn't creep me out, I'd get one in a second for my aisha.

Re: New Pet! The Sage! (Renamed the Mahar)
When it was pointed out, I admit I was in a bit of a rush to find a new suitable name, so no, I didn't think all that much about the semantics of it. You're right in that I knocked off the back half of a word, but the word in question would be maharishi . I thought the definition worked for what I ...

Re: New Pet! The Sage! (Renamed the Mahar)
It reminds me of the Maher Arar case too, which was very sad. =( I'll have to disagree about the antrhopology label. Anthropo refers to humans (well, man, actually :/), not any sentient being. I'd much rather the news had referred to social scientist, linguist, cultural expert, or something like tha...

Re: Sketch & Speckled Grarrls
The speckled looks like an actual speckled egg with the variation in the spots, so taht's a good thing.
If only the grarrls had narrowed eyes, so the bared teeth would look menacing instead of plain crazy.

Re: Mallarchy Revamp + Marsh, Nuclear
Subeta has so many pretty redraws, but it's so often the simple colours that stand out as having the most character to me. I love the marsh mallarchy. It looks really like it has strong character. The wings do seem to have all the segments, as far as I can see. The "thumb" bone doesn't sti...

Re: Lost Desert Krawk and Draik
I see a few nurse comments, but I've never associated blue with nurses; is there some reference I'm missing? I tend to associate them with white and red. :) The hat reminds me a tiny bit of a bishop's hat for some reason, now that I think about it. Well, I think it's that particular shade of blue w...

Re: Lost Desert Krawk and Draik
I love the orange and green of the krawk. It looks bold and strong. The eye does look mad, but I could imagine a few insane characters for a desert krawk. My only problem with the blue on the draik is that, along with the white hat, it ends up reminding modern people of a nurse. I generally like the...

Re: Desert Petpets
I like the idea of this colour. But I hope it doesn't result in too many petpets wearing clothes. Those images could get crowded and too busy. Besides, petpets in clothes sometimes remind me of people who dress their dogs up in fru fru ballerina outfits. Simple jewellery like on the Spyder and Babaa...

It is amusing to me that some people (here, on other forums, and on the site itself) are saying that they'll only vote for people with NC mall items, or that they'll only vote for people without NC mall items, or that they'll only vote for unrevamped pets. I, on the otherhand, will be taking the no...

Re: New Faerie petpets: Catamara, Crabula, Eizzil and Geb
I love the Crabula, but it's hard to explain why. Everything about it, the shape, the colours, the position, it's pleasing to the eye. The Geb is cute and, surprisingly, cuddly looking. Love it! The Catamara's not working for me. I have no problem with shapeless blobs. I just don't like the way the ...

I am disappointed by this spotlight, if mall items are allowed to be entered. When the mall came out, I went ahead and spent my money on neocash. I figured that it was just a fun way to play around with my pets' appearances. But introducing a competition in which a person can buy an advantage is jus...
