This looks exceedingly poorly drawn to me. It's not different enough from a regular uni. The colors are not stellar, the lines are thick, and the poses are awkward (especially defended). Apparently the mutant department burned themselves out on the gnorbu. This looks like a really crap Darigan more than mutant.
Its horrible looking. It looks squishy, and friendly (like it has no idea how stupid it looks).
Its like they didn't feel like doing a redraw, when they clearly cannot make it work. How many redraws are there even of unis? Not faerie, not mutant, darigan and halloween aren't reposes..
Oddly it reminds me of greek vase style art..
Edit (yes I change my mind a lot): The circle pose is cute. There.

It looks pretty okay, but is very boring for a mutant. Too sleek lines! No weird out-growths! The colors are nice on their own but combined they create a very bland impression. The mane looks like... I don't know. Snakes? Dead snakes.
And there's no sad small pose.
I'm all for something new and original like an convex forehead, and the tentacle mane is kind of a nice concept, but that's where the good things end. I can't really fathom how they let oud such an ugly mutant, and not ugly in the good sense. I could see maybe somebody, somewhere liking this creature, but that's kind of hard to believe.
Honestly I am left wondering whether this is a total joke like the Darigan Poogle or Kacheek. If it's "real" I am deeply disappointed in this artist. This is an oversimplified blob of a Uni with wonky anatomy and too-heavy linework. It would not be hard to do something creative with this concept, and whoever did this needs to try harder. DO-OVER.
Meh -- the muzzle looks really off (IMHO, that's also true for the Darigan Uni), the colours are unoriginal -- the same as the mutant korbat AND kougra, and the tail and mane *could* be cool tentacle things if they were drawn better.
