Spectrum Archan
Spectrum Archan
Well, I can honestly say, this is my favorite Archan. Now beware the fact that I'm a cat lover.
I absolutely love the Archan shaking it's head like a real cat would if something was in their fur or whatever the reason may be. xD
The mane is nicely shaded and not too dark. I like the rainbows at the edges of it's mane, it really flows nicely with the movement. The colour bands are simple, but it keeps it from being too busy. The only critique I have is the plain tail. I think if the feathers on the tip of it's tail were lightly covered in colour, it would look even nicer. But that's minor. I believe DNA is still doing the Archans, so good job on her part.

Re: Spectrum Archan
I'm honestly surprised with the archans lately, I've been so sad about the species ever since the special colors and all of a sudden we get a wonderful glade and adorably colorful spectrum. DNA really did a great job on this, I wish I had a reason to get this because I love it. i agree about the tail though, a wasted opportunity to add some more color on the tip but that's minor. Wonderful work on this <3

Re: Spectrum Archan
I am still formulating an opinion about this and will edit my post in a second. I just wanted to point out that DNA didn't draw this; Rah actually took a sketch DNA started ages ago and finished the pet up. Rah is the new Archan artist.

Re: Spectrum Archan
Well I have to say Rah is doing a bang up job with the Archans! I'm with you Helios in being disappointed with the archans special colours (except nightmare which I love and galactic has grown on me). But I loved the glade and I love this one. It's just, so damn cute! I went 'Awwww' as soon as I saw it. It's such a fun pose. The mane is nicely shaded, I like how it's shaking out the rainbows and the colour bands are nice and not busy. I also agree that more could of been done with the tale but something one can live with. I'm very tempted to make Daray into one. **rubs chin**

First Archan I've really loved! Great job Rah, it looks amazing, I love the movement in it, and the mane is lovely
Re: Spectrum Archan
Haha, I didn't do the glade one! DNA left the sketch of this one and I just loved it, so I finished it up (just like I did with the glade feli/cybill and torrey). But yes, the rest of the archans should be done by me from scratch!
Pyrostatic - I have 13 pets now I think? But I've done most of the colours for them anyway! I think some of them are done apart from steamwork. I was running out of pets to do so I took on a few more xD
As to the missed opportunity of adding colour to the tail - I maybe could have added some colour to the tip, but I was only putting colour where there were markings I didn't add any paint splashes or extra blobs on this guy because he had so many markings already! He has a line of blue and green on his tail, but they're kind of hard to see. I'll keep an eye on that in future n__n

I'm happy Rah took over the Archan, as I really adore this. The design and colors are great, especially the orange head thingies. Adorable!
Wanna donate towards my drink gallery, the Golden Goblet.

Hey, the more pets Rah does, the better as far as I'm concerned! You do great pets!
This is adorable... a big, friendly kitty!

After extensive research, I can only conclude that this so-called "Rah" is in fact 7 different people and at least 1 robot programmed to draw way too well. How else can these pets be churned out so quickly and consistently?Wingsrising wrote:Hey, the more pets Rah does, the better as far as I'm concerned!
First archan I've ever liked. <-- Seriously, I NEVER thought I would say that. WTF.
