Rereading Case Histories'd be good since there's some sort of sequel coming out soon As for the ones you've suggested, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close sounds the most interesting to me, but I think I'd be willing to read any of them assuming a library nearby had them.
I really like how The Handmaid's Tale, The Blind Assassin, and The Known World sound. But I'm up for reading any of them as well. Gendel, by John Gardner, has been on my list for a while.
I'd definitely be interested in taking part in this if it were to get the go ahead. I've got a number of books that I keep meaning to get around to reading but I never seem to make the time or effort at the moment, this might help me actually do something.
I'd be interested, but it would depend on how much I wanted to read that particular book. And whether I could convince Derek to take me to the book store or library, hee.
Me too. I haven't read a book in ages, nor been to the library since the former librarian was replaced with a replicator. I don't have any suggestions, but I'm open to anything. I also don't think we'd need a formal member list or anything. I think we'd get and keep more people involved if they knew they could pop in or out when they're interested.
