I umm, gave in. and now 4/5 pets are galactic.
Well! Now that my "constellation pets" are done...only the darkonite to go!
That'll save a lot of sp!
I loved them all..I...Just couldn't resist *sob*
It also helps that they were definitely in my price range, even though I'm a newbie.
Bonus points for Subeta!
EDIT: Now all 5 pets are galactic...T.T But they are all so prettyful!

I like the celinox and the Darkonite. Not to own but they are pretty to look at. Also the Terracoon is pretty nice too.
And Checkers I don't think Rah draws the Aeanoid. Just because it's your fav pet and it has a few colors doesn't make Rah the that draws them. For all we know Rah could be refering to a new pet or maybe a pet getting vamped who knows but her. XD

I'm very disappointed by the Celinox - I love the species and the colour but they didn't come together that well.
I don't like a lot of the poses - I get the whole "hovering in the sky" thing, but so many awkward back arches! Sigh.
The Darkonite is cute, I like it almost enough to change Aphasia, but not quite. The Pherret is cute! I like nearly all of the redraw Pherret colours, hee.
Nothing extraordinary in this batch, but all solidly good.

Ooo, I really like this new batch, the Celinox and Darkonite especially. The Pherret is cute too, but the Antlephore is kind of strange (I think it's something about the head). So many pretty Galactic pets now! I still reeeeally wanted to see an Aerie or Demi though. If one of those isn't released later tonight, I might have to change one of my current pets into a Darkonite or Dragarth. Decisions...
In my defence, Rahs been drawing pets that Rah doesn't normally draw, so it could be. =/ So really that comment wasn't needed.ChibiDragon86 wrote:I like the celinox and the Darkonite. Not to own but they are pretty to look at. Also the Terracoon is pretty nice too.

I like this batch of four more than the first six, primarily because there's more of the cloudy looking star field in the background and since that's one of my very favorite things about this color, yeah.
For illustration of whathell I'm talking about:
My favorites remain the Escalade and the Kora though - so very very prettyful. <3

Ah, I quite like the pets with a lot of the cloudy star stuff, but I also like the effect on the Telenine.
aka no clouds at all, but rather a kinda galactic colour swirl thing. However, I wish I liked Telenine a little bit more, they're just too goofy looking and the teeth always seems out of place on any Telenine.

Ugh. Well, I decided to give into temptation and paint Mirna now, but I can't. I foolishly started a started an Iltallo quest on the wrong pet last month -- I don't recall my reasoning; perhaps I am merely an idiot -- and there's no way to cancel it, and I am for damn sure not overwriting Transience's paintjob. That's just grand.

I like that too, but I'd like it even more with the stars.adi_gallia wrote:Ah, I quite like the pets with a lot of the cloudy star stuff, but I also like the effect on the Telenine.

I agree about Telenines in general; the only one I like at all is bloodred. However I adore that color beyond the telling of it and have a name (as soon as it's freed up ^^) the potion and a minion all sitting in readiness.
Edit: urgh, Twofold, I'm sorry, that's just awful. x.x I don't suppose the trick of abandon/readopt works for resetting galactic like it does with hydrus pets?

It doesn't, and I feel like I deserve some kind of balls of steel award for doing even a self-transfer with a reborn pet when there are barely over a hundred pets in the pound right now.Kamil wrote:Edit: urgh, Twofold, I'm sorry, that's just awful. x.x I don't suppose the trick of abandon/readopt works for resetting galactic like it does with hydrus pets?
However, the trick of sending her to my boyfriend and having him paint her worked a charm. He is a very good boyfriend, and she is full of pretty.
Lol, it's not the aeanoid Zoo draws those! (The same artist that does the Kumos and the Celinox)checkers wrote:It's Aeanoid right? you're drawing a Spectrum and Angelic Aeanoid? *hopeful eyes*Rah wrote:The pets I draw currently are Kanis, Kora, Chai, Terracoon, Mallarchy and one I'm not ready to tell yet because the ones I've drawn for it haven't been released yet :p
My favourite to draw is the Kora, I think. The Chai I've recently decided I like (starting from the Galactic one, before that my Chai art was...well, not good *coughHYDRUScough*)
The Kanis is supposed to be my favourite, but I think I went through so much hassle in it's redraw that it's become less fun for me now :p
I've always like the Kora, although I think an improvement could be done on them and the hipposauru, they both have the same floating pose, I'd like to see Kora sitting down. XD
Keep up the good work though =D
Hehe, the kora is a magical mystical pet that is kinda psychic and loves the water...so I'm not sure it will ever be revamped to sit down The Hipposaru is Sooki's domain! I'm not sure the plans she has for it
And I promise I will one day revamp the Hydrus Chai xD (Although, it's supposed to be scary..but the anatomy is totally warped. I don't know what I was on the day I drew it!)

If the Kora were changed in such a fundamental way, I'd be irked, and I don't even own one. Some might say that makes my opinion invalid, but nyahhhh.
I love the galactic darkonite, but I'd kind of prefer it to be rotated 90 degrees; it's good art, but it leaves me feeling like I'm falling forward, or something. Mrrrm. I think darkonites have such wonderful potential (angelic!), but it's seldom seen. For the galactic, it's almost perfect, except for being an odd freeze-frame.
