Some pixel art..

Been a little while since I posted something new, so here are a couple of things I finished today.



The first is a potential redesign of my draik, Yukaeko. His old design is rather complicated and I'm not sure it suits his personality (picture here). The new one goes closer to his roots but is unique too.. Maybe he'll be able to change into his old design somehow, I still like it quite a bit.

The second is his maraquan gallion. Sporos. ^^ Changed his tail a bit..

I always loved Yukaeko's design but for some reason it reminded me of your eyrie's (the one thats dark blue and also fire-y). I like this one's wings a lot.
Pretty pretty, as always.

Yeah, that was something I'd considered before too, I can't remember whether Yukaeko's or Gryffoenix' design was made first though. XD

I always liked Yukaeko's original design. It was pretty and very unique. I just like the classics I guess ; P However, the new design is nice, but I still prefer the old one, LOL

By original do you mean the old starry one or his multi-elemental one? XD

Edit: Or if you go back even further, his first "design" was a starry draik with orange where the yellow should be (except stars). lol

I love Yukaeko's multi-elemental design, but the new one is also very nice ^^ The only trhing is that it seems to me like he's leaning forward, i think its because of the position of the front right leg.

This is probably going to sound stupid but have you ever done a pixel art tutorial? Its one area of art I'd love to be able to do better. I can sometimes scrape together something vaguely ok but mostly my attempts are dire. Any tips?

Nope, haven't. Maybe I will. XD I think I kind of cheat for mine (use multiple layers in photoshop).

really, 'tis a gorgeous design. i've always liked Yukaeko's older design (the one with all the elements in it)
